Why don't you just manually set the key that you want to pause yourself?

I have been waiting years for the pause emulation option to be included, so I was just happy to see it at last :)

All of the new speed options are greatly appreciated.

Wonderful job as always.

Thanks again :) That 989c version plays the FF3 movie absolutely great. Weird to see just how far ZSNES has progressed over the years too, looking at such an old version. It is the latest WIP (11 April?) that I'm currently using. As I said, they open fine, but the FF3 one goes out of synch very quic...

Yeah, they open fine.

But the Final Fantasy 3 ZMV that I looked at (all 240+ Mb of it!) goes out of synch by the end of the first battle of the game.

And yet the 14 minute beating of Super Mario World ZMV stays in synch all the way through.

Cheers anyway :D

Having the 'high priority mode' checked in the options would IMO explain all of your problems.

The same problem was bugging me for weeks. Until I looked through my settings and realised :D

Older versions of ZSNES for playing ZMV files?

Hiya :) I'm interested in watching some of those large movie files that are available at Zophars. But they definitely go out of synch quickly with the latest ZSNES WIP. So does anyone have any links to (much) older versions of ZSNES? I keep a certain amount of backups myself. But not as far back as ...

That Chrono Trigger movie that you refer to does work in the latest ZSNES (I've got the latest WIP) I don't know if it goes out of synch or not. But it definitely starts ok, and plays fine for the few minutes I was watching it. Is there any way of checking how long the movie is? It was created as sa...

Haha. I wondered where that Super Mario All Stars save had gone. (It wasn't THAT bad. I only lost 15 minutes worth of play) Will disabling the 'SRAM Check+Save' option have any detrimental effect? I just checked, and I did indeed have that checked. (by default yes?) Useful info anyway if any other s...

SOM was one of the most 'glitch' ridden SNES games ever released IMO. That's not to say that I dislike the game. Owned it on cart till I sold it on ebay a couple of months ago. (or I could have compared the sound for you on SNES & ZSNES. Sorry.) Shame about any problems with the sound really, (i...

Windows requires two arguments if you are adding a switch to the .exe I found this to my cost when trying for an hour to get ePSXe to use a -noauto switch for Chrono Cross. So in my case, the command line to add -6 to ZSNES would go - C:\Emulators\SNES\zsnesw.exe -6 zsnesw.exe And that works. I trie...
