Ok, I've decided to make another release of the package with everything you'll need to run Regen right off the bat, this time for v0.93 Beta 2. Stuff included in this package are; -Latest Regen test executable (v0.93 Beta 2). -Required Fonts folder and makefile executable, to prevent crashes and all...

Ok, done some testing comparing to Kega, my ears and my memory on a couple things. 1) TmEE's music player ROM sounds perfectly as far as I can tell. 2) Robocop Vs. The Terminator - Still has sound FX off by a bit. Using the flame thrower in game as a comparison, it sounds too high pitched compared t...

Found another one. In Spider-Man vs The Kingpin (W) [!] during the first level (ok, the first REAL level, the warehouse), there's a loud pitch sound every once in awhile. Now, Kega does emulate this sound correctly. Although, I'd like to point out I do have the original card and I vividly remember n...

diminish, set your system.video option to "directdraw", and enable vertical sync in youe nvidia card's control panel and see what happens. Like I said in my edit, I was able to fix all problems by enabling vertical sync for my ATI card, and I see no lag at all using Scale2x in Super Mario ...

Is it just me, or does everything seem to lag a little while Synchronize Video is on? I swear, especially when playing Super Mario World, it kinda seems laggy when jumping and moving. EDIT: Fixed all problems by enabling vertical sync for my ATI card. I can enable Scale2x and HQ2x with no problems o...

Yeah, in my case I can only use audio sync, using both (or video alone) causes the FPS to drop down somewhat... then again, I'm stupid enough to have the Scale2x plugin on still...

EDIT: Yep, that did it. Turned off Scale2x, turned on both sync settings, and all seems well now.

Robocop Vs. The Terminator Speaking of which, I just tested it for the fun of it, and the sound for it is different sounding than the real hardware and Kega Fusion (with SuperHQ on). You can go to the Sound Test from the options screen of the game to test and compare. :) Some notable music/sounds t...

Only one didn't work, and it was a Sufami Turbo cart. I have no idea how to proper load those(Three carts needed to use a game? WTF?). System > Load Special > Load Sufami Turbo Cartridge. Set the Base Cartridge (Sufami Turbo BIOS (J).smc) and load the Slot A and Slot B cartridges and it should work...

I updated the site a little bit (added the new readme, but I found a typo Adam missed ), and here's a newer fixed readme file with one typo fixed which can be downloaded here . Which reminds me, I think I'll update the homepage a little with Adam's fixed readme/history files on the site. :)

hq4x causes Regen to crash. It doesn't like hq3x much either. hq3x will either crash or not actually display anything. Again, the answer is in the readme file... Missing: -------- * Plugins that scale the output by 2 are only supported But they shouldn't crash. Hmmm, for the stability of the progra...

Also, I found several bugs. On 32 bit color, it wouldn't display the messages or FPS properly. It displays them as blue garbled text. hq4x causes Regen to crash. Hi, I was looking at the SRAM issue and fount out what was causing it. SRAM should work in any game except Sonic 3 & Knuckles/Phantasy Star 4/Story of Thor. These games require special SRAM handling which is not present Regen right now. SRAM is mapped above 0x200000(which clashes with ROM) and ...

No, the SRM file doesn't work in Regen, but does in Kega Fusion or Gens. For some reason, it can't read or use the SRM file from either emulator.
