Why bother with plugins and junk? Just download the awesome little emulator called 'pSX' and experience those games just as you would on the real thing. Graphics and sound are faithful to the real PSX and there's very little options to tinker with.Even with the default settings you'll be 'shocked' :...

As I know,80s Japanese TVs were outputting a better picture because of the yellow boost they were doing to the color signal.Even PAL TVs from the early 80s did this, like the well-known for the time "SABA" brand :) Hint: You can enable the "yellow boost" from the NTSC filter advan...

Hmmm...seems ATi's (AMD) drivers are way behind nVidia's when it comes to this. Not only that, but they also cut the hardware support for nPatches (TruForm) a year ago.Way to go,ATi (bah!) Incorrect. There is no more software Truform support for non-8500/90xx/91xx/92xx (there is still hardware suppor...

Nice stuff :) Hmmm...seems ATi's (AMD) drivers are way behind nVidia's when it comes to this. Not only that, but they also cut the hardware support for nPatches (TruForm) a year ago.Way to go,ATi (bah!) 1.33c-WIP4: Only one little bug to fix: In fullscreen mode with VSync ON,when running an NTSC game,if alternate speed is set to 240fps,holding the Alt. speed key reaches only 120fps. When running a PAL rom,on the other hand it goes to 240.I see a regression here, kinda deja vu? :) With VSync OFF,this...

Hmm,the spacebar problem is still there just it happens at random. You can reproduce it if you start ZSNES with freshly-generated .cfgs, then change to another windowed resolution, test a game and close the emulator. Then open it and switch to a custom DS Fullscreen mode.It won't accept SPACE at the p...

1.33c-WIP3 (Part 2) More bugs, this time for real 1. When Auto monitor refresh is enabled and VSync enabled, the emulator switches to 100Hz or 120Hz,but unlike 1.32 this version al NEStopia runs at double speed (100/120fps!) instead of 50/60. 2. When in fullscreen mode, and going to the Video settings,...

The issues still occur with the latest SVN build with a freshly generated .cfg file. You should reproduce by using a Logitech Rumblepad2 USB gamepad. This issue is almost the same as the bug I found in NEStopia,Martin fixed it in the latest NEStopia WIP build, now everything is normal. No matter what...

I'm experiencing 2 bugs with the latest (04/09) WIP: - When starting the emulator in windowed mode and switching to another windowed mode,it asks you to press any key,and then press SPACE,but SPACE doesn't respond. - When assigning an emulation-specific option (like 'toggle Show FPS') to a gamepad ...

Hmm, I've never seen anything below 56Hz, or at least not in the D3D display mode enumerator. Again, check the logfile for a list of what rates your monitor can handle. 50-160Hz,up to 2048x1536 res. (22" CRT) There are also a good number of monitors that support 200Hz refresh rates (like most ...

Also,in the future, can you upload your WIP builds / files to a better webhoster? Cecil: Use 1280x960 :) I forgot to say to use the highest 4:3 mode your monitor supports.
And use 60Hz refresh for an authentic experience (although I don't know if your eyes will like it :) )

For the bilinear filtering, you should turn it off for an authentic NES experience. There's difference between PAL and NTSC TVs,NTSC has visible scanlines, with scanline intensity somewhere between 50% and 100% (depending on the TV) PAL TVs do not have visible scanlines,or you may notice something sim...

All I can say is - WOW! My favorite emulator is now much better :)
Been waiting 2 months for this release.

Finally: Low latency input,HQ4X,the speed throttling fixed, screen curves!, NTSC filter works with custom palettes. Great stuff, just no new mappers this time.
