Since you can use your keyboard or a gamepad to control the games without necessarily having to own an actul SNES pad, don't you think it's fairly obvious that you don't have to get an actual SNES Mouse to control mouse games? Since I haven't used zSNES very much as of yet and Mario Paint didn't us...

Mario Paint troubles

I can't get Mario Paint to work. Am I going to have to buy the SNES controller adaptor and find an old SNES mouse to play it, or is there something I can do?

Oh. I'll update those then.

And anyways, I believe I fixed the issue. I was at a friends house and managed to save my file, so something may have been wrong with my old version of zSNES.

You guys can lock/delete/let this die now.

Okay, at first, the issue was save states. However, once I downloaded the newest zSNES, it ceased to load. I deleted the .DAT and .cfg files as recommended, and it still doesn't load. I just get a black screen.

The folder is read/write. I am assuming that the saves are automatically read/write, and I never changed them.

I am going to work on this for a while by myself; if anyone has some ideas as for what it could be, please post them.

So by all accounts it should work. This is starting to give me a headache.

Hit F3 during gameplay; F4 to load.

Alright, I have the latest zsnes, and I did what you said, but it still won't load, and likely I still can't save.

I think it's an HD. I don't know. It's a 256 SanDisk MiniCruzer.

EDIT: I am going to download the latest version of zsnesw to make sure I am doing this all right.

EDIT2: Now zSNES won't even load!

Yeah, I did that. In the config menu in zsnes, I changed all the directories so that they aligned with folders on my drive, i.e., F:\zsnes\Saves but it still won't save. I even opened the config file to check it out.

Issue with Save State (and now zSNES won't load at all)

I was wondering why I couldn't save for a while but then I read around and realized it was because I was running zsnes off of a USB drive. I understand that. But is there anyway that I can save to my USB drive? I really don't want to have to move a folder full of my save games somewhere everytime I ...
