If the games DO run fine then what other problem is there? Basically, as you allude, perfectionism. Remember Puzzle Bobble or whatnot in MAME? They had simulated this logic chip or whatever, and it ended up causing very subtle changes in behavior of the game that nobody noticed. Bubble Bobble /nitp...

Re: Traffic shaping. Has your ISP started capping torrents y
Just curious do you have a static IP with cable? That is, each time you connect does your IP change? wrong static IPs stay the same no matter what (unless you pay for another IP), dynamic IPs change (usually) every time you connect to the Internet That's what I meant but I guess I badly phrased it....

Mine started recently...25k max...whoo...Well it's not really my ISP per-se but the company from which they depend on, see below And the real bummer is that there is no alternatives. There are dozens of ISP providers in my region but...they are all basically physically dependent on one big head hon...

And this was someone with good feedback? Yeah, but what does it really mean? Small and large transactions carry the same weight in the feedback summary. It is therefore easy for a dishonest user to initially build up a deceptive positive rating by buying or selling a number of very low value items,...

Just to clarify my earlier point: I was strictly referring to the naming convention and not any potential additional emulator functions. The fundamental problem is that no one loads a game without intending to run it, but on old consoles, games did not auto-run. You loaded the game, then you powered...

Does this fix resolve any game issue's? Nope, it doesn't fix any game. It just improves the timing precision ~15-20% of IRQs generated by almost exactly one microsecond (one ten millionth of a second.) Good job on the findings and the test byuu. TI've said this before but SNES emulation has come a ...

I think it's not used in commercial apps because it's probably just a hack. It doesn't work very well compared to actual drawing tablets, it feels imprecise, unresponsive yet oversensitive. That said, I -was- amazed when I first tried it. It's better than no pressure sensitivity at all. It might no...

Pressure sensitive game on DS?
I just tried a paint application NDS homebrew Colors! and was surprised to discover the NDS touchscreen is actually pressure sensitive. I say "surprised" because I'm not aware of any commercial games that support that. So does any of you knows of any commercial games that makes use of this...

After that, CPU mul/div partial results would be a nice 3-6 month excursion, and then we could try and simulate bus conflicts and hardware bugs (eg CPUr1 HDMA lockup.) Wait a minute, you want to reproduce bugs in the hardware? why? wouldn't it be better to emulate a SNES where these bugs are fixed?...

double sigh. turning off the power and unplugging it is going to keep you safe from a number of things, not only laser emissions. and those warning stickers are real, with precise terminology about the level of risk. however, lame disclaimers in internet guides are another matter entirely. wear sun...

Re: Article: Unskilled and Unaware of It
it may very well be likely, because IQ is (or at least what I was told) stratified by age. Alright, I probably suffer from low Ayecuetus because I don't see how this is likely. According to what I read, approximately only 1 in a 1000 have an IQ of 150 or more...Now, according to the folks on teh in...

Re: Article: Unskilled and Unaware of It
http://www.damninteresting.com/?p=406 On the internet, there's something like 95% of people who have an I.Q of 150 and beyond (i.e: scores in the top 99.9%) and more than 95% place well above average in terms of looks. For that to be mathematically possible, I guess you'd need to have 1% of people ...
