Re: Best N64 emulator?

Oh, hm. Well, this is the last big announcement made recently, so no, it doesn't look like anything substantial has been done in terms of the core emulation. Sorry.

I BELIEVE core emulation may finally be being worked on, but I could be totally wrong. I don't know what you mean by you one-word "source?" question, so... it is open source? If you want to tinker with the code, you can.

If you meant something else by "source", my apologies.

I thought I'd chime in and say that screenshot of ossxmix was cringe-worthy. Did it really take up the whole screen? I've been pretty lucky that my audio hardware is supported pretty well by alsa/pulse, and I have to say it's a joy to use the new mixer that ubuntu 9.10 added. Small, simple, excellen...

I'd also go with Mupen64Plus, they've been doing some good work over there. They're in beta for a pretty large refactoring of their codebase, and currently are working on a new GUI, but even the older version is very solid. That said, I'm not sure what platform you wanted it for. I know the linux ve...

I feel as though I've won an entire internet, having seen that image. Thank you kindly.

Also, maybe you've already posted about this, but your thoughts regarding Other M from the little that's been put out so far? I don't know what to make of it, myself.

Hi! I thought I'd stop in and say hello, it's been a while. I've sorta stopped being on boards much, though I go to the bsnes forums every so often. I miss you guys! Especially that thing where one guy would say something, and then some other guy would say something amusing in response, and then per...

What to do with 2 500GB hard drives

Pretty much what the title says. I had one drive, which died on me during the school year. I bought a new one in a panic, only to realize later on that the old one was still under warranty. I shipped it out today, so hopefully in a few weeks I'll have two 500 gigs. So... what should I do with them? ...

Is board.byuu.org down?

I always think it's amusing when someone here asks if a site is down because they can't see it, and the majority of people always seem to be able to view said site perfectly fine. I'm okay with being that person today. Can anyone else get onto byuu's forum? I'm erroring out every time. Thanks guuuuu...

I think that this whole "jump on the bandwagon" thing might actually be really great news for Nintendo. Think about it. Not only does it completely validate their "experiment" in the way games should be played, but there's a decent chance that once all three systems are capable o...
