Re: I can't seem to install ZSNES on my computer any help?

ZSNES doesn't create file associations on its own. Open ZSNES first, then open a rom file from within the menu. You can google how to create file associations yourself.

Save using the game's save-game function.

Re: Testing, testing... 1, 2...

Default theme is too dark or the contrast is just bad. Can just barely read the text etc. You should default to something more neutral and let users pick these "extreme" themes for themselves.

AFAIK, the glide plugin is just a wrapper. I don't think anyone expects someone to still be using a glide card.

N64 emulation is fine if all you want to play is the most popular stuff. I'd still use stock PJ64 if I didn't feel like experimenting with plug-in setting Yet Again.

That dialog should have a "Browse" button. Point it to the zsnes exe file.

Star Ocean will freeze up in ZSNES, use something else.

Nothing wrong with patches, assuming they're properly applied.

Play a game and you won't see the interface. Frankly, why care what it looks like anyway, so long as it functions properly.

You can zip up files seperately with plain, old winrar. Select how many ever files, right click them -> 'add to archive'. 'Files' tab and check the box for them to be zipped seperately.

And, you couldn't create one why? This would be a key test to isolate the cause.

If you've used a save state at any point, expect some oddity.

That said, port your memory card file over to pSX and see if you can play past the problem area.

If it still fails, it could very well be your image. Either an error in the file creation or from a defect in the physical disk.

Your CPU and video card have no effect on what a filter will look like.

Create a text file, change the .txt extension to .mcr. You can have as many as you feel you need, just name them differently.

Memcard files aren't anything special for which you need to scour the internet looking.

I think you're aware, but just in case; any filter + ogl and attempting to go fullscreen = crash.

Also, something weird; If you set ogl on first run (before the ini is generated I guess) and go to set up an input device, crash. Deleting the ini reproduces this, of course.

Don't know about the rest of you, but I was 15 when T2 was released and that shit was awesome at the time. The liquid metal effect was the height of special effects and inspired awe in our simple brains.

T1 just scared the hell out of me in the 80's. T3 was garbage.

Mmkay then. Maybe a more graceful error then, a pop-up saying 'foo not found.' or something. Is this even a feature I would be interested in with only 2.0 pixel shader support? There's still the issue of crash on exit with ogl when you initially select it as renderer. E.G. if I set it to D3D and clo...
