How can people not realize that coffee is going to be hot? "Gee, I didn't know it was hot, I thought it was supposed to be cold!" Don't they say on the machines that the product will be hot and/or coffee may exceed 160 degrees? Are these people who get burned blind or just too lazy to read...

Are people really that ignorant to not read the warnings in the first place? Leave it up to one jerk to ruin it for the rest of us.

They've gone as far as making games have less strobe effects. Take Chrono Trigger DS or Secret of Mana on the virtual console. When the cannon shoots, the flash is now a dim, white pulse (instead of the bright, flickering strobe). In CT DS, Lightning 2/Thundaga no longer has the same flicker effect,...

*Sigh* I suppose so. If it's also tough love for aggravating anyone, I deserve(d) it. Tough love, huh? Well, as long as we can come to
an understanding.

Okay, as I said before, I already restored (and still am in the process of doing) most of the files I erroneously formatted. Yes, I made a HUGE and very stupid mistake, and yes, I know very well that I got mocked AND the crap beaten out of for it. But now that this issue is no longer existent, can't...

Okay, I managed to find a nice program and it seems to recovery maybe 85% of what I lost, so, this will work out.

Right, but I've only made a few incomplete backups, but I just need recovery that'll recover more than a couple 4.7GB DVDs (the HDD is around 120GB).

Inadvertent HDD formatting = beating myself up for doing so

Okay, so, I was attempting to reinstall WinXP on another PC (the OS had corrupt system files, and thus needed to be reisntalled). Not to mention that the Windows HDD wasn't being detected, but I didn't realize this until AFTER. So, I boot of the XP CD to initialize an reinstall. Well, I do so, but i...

"Aren't you going to run away?" or *when entering a battle*, Opera says "uff-uff!" My favorite has to be "Pair-a-bola beam".

Sorry about that, it's just when you spend money on something like this, you'd expect it to work the way it's meant to. But, alas, there's not much that can be done about this. I've heard that pSX author is working on another version of pSX that has PS2 emulation. Hopefully one day, when that's out,...

Whether or not this controller is a PS/PS2 or an Xbox 360, they both use analog sticks, the issue should be irrelevant. Why else would the C-stick work on PJ64 without any issues and yet PS/PS2 emulators can't use analog in their plugins? Gee, that's a mystery. All the other PSX to USB adaptors I sa...

Yeah, I had a question about loading BS-X carts in Bsnes; why do I have to select a base cart to load a game? Why can't I simply select the game and have it just boot? In SnesGT, I just choose the game and that's it.

All ready tried SSSPSX 1.7.0, MegaPad 1.2.0, TwinPad 0.7.0, LilyPad 0.9.4 and PADzenogais (DX9) 1.1.0. On the LilyPad plugin, I was able to configure the analog sticks once (after reboot), and even when I enabled it on the psx controller, PS/PS2 emulators still didn't "find" them. The next...

I do have a PS2, it's just this way is more convenient. I was merely asking if it's possible to first, configure a plugin to accept input from the analog sticks, and second, if it can be used. If it can work on PJ64 (which uses DirectInput), then why can't PCSX2/ePSXe (which also uses it)? Game pad ...

I hope the voice actors are better this time around (especially when one of the PSX version characters called parabola beam "pair-uh-bowl-uh beam" or "come here, barney" instead of "come here, bunny!").

Well, a slight update on the situation. I rebooted the computer and that seemed to help the LilyPad plugin detect that both analog sticks were "there" and configured them. Even after doing that, they still won't work in any games. And about pSX, I'm not sure I want to wait that long.

Yep. Already tried that. Didn't do jack squat. I've tried various plugins, went to emuforums.com and I'm worried by the fact that some have speculated that DirectInput prevents analog from working. This can't be right, I've heard of people getting it to work. Edit 8:23PM: Here's what I find weird; p...
