That's something I really need to start work on (the Qt GUI), plus the GBA graphics core needs severe work. As well as a main code cleanup to do with the large amount of global variables...And I need to finish off the Win32 OGL fragment shader linker/compiler code..

Here's another interesting fact about VBA-M: The Win32 build (188) works exceptionally well under Linux with WINE. While DirectDraw doesn't work and the menubar has some disappearing issues,Direct3D and OpenGL modes were rock-solid. One thing that surprised me was the emulation speed - a real shock...

I'd say stick with Clements's suggestion of EDuke32.

The EDuke32 OpenGL renderer was programmed by the original Build engine coder, and so it should be more then enough. Plus, that particular port supports hires models and textures.

i believe in_USF for winamp also plays ADX files but it sounds pretty much the same as in_cube since both are from the same author... in_cube is newer tho *smacks head* 64th Note only supports MINIUSF and USF files. Nothing else, it simply doesnt have the code to playback ADX streams. hey, im wonde...

Now I'm wondering how to put any of them to use considering they seem to be in a format for DOSBox. You'll have to excuse me if anything I say is wrong/doesn't make any sense, I don't exactly have much knowledge on the subject. It is possible to rewrite those HLSL shaders to work for any D3D applic...

Edit: Didn't work, but I have another idea. I'm going to try all of the versions of VBA that are merged into your version. If one of them has the same error, at least we'll know where it's coming from... I know it's not the official VBA, as I can run that. Edit2: Dammit, that's not the issue either...

- OpenAL output supports only the 'Generic Software' device. Is support for other devices implemented? Yes, if your sound hardware supports hardware accelerated OpenAL, it will use it. D3D is not for linux, I was talking about catalyst linux edition
I know, hence why I was saying
ATIs OpenGL ICD sucks
because the ICD applies to both versions of the driver.

Since this bugmenot user can't convert these craptacular filters himself, I totally vote for porting Zsnes to Perl instead.
And rewrite the whole emulator in the process? No thanks, I rather have the C or assembly filters...

This version also fix that resolution problem I told you before. Thanks.
Spacy's the one that fixed those issues, since he added his new renderer before me. :)

Anyways, that message is bizziare. Its odd that it occurs...Tried it with newest code, and works for me.

mudlord, I'm sure the videocard that you are using support at least 320x240. So, you can reproduce this problem. See if you can select 320x240 from this screen (when using Directdraw) - and not from the window with pre-defined resolutions. Yes, I can. I can select resolutions from 320x240, right up...

Indeed.

If I had added forced 15hz support for vigi_lante's card, then some moron will probably use 15hz for the hell of it and blame me after a few weeks or months that thier monitor is screwed. I simply can't allow that to happen at all.

I'd have to agree with you. Can it possibly damage the monitor?
Yes, there is a potential of monitor damage if you force refresh rates that the host monitor can't handle. Which is why I am reluctant to do such a thing.
