I only signed up to byuu's board later on. Why should it matter that I go there anyway?
Excellent.

It matters because: Anyone I see that is a friend/sympathiser of **** is a enemy of mine. It is that fucking simple :/

Which personally, would be great. Hopefully making it permanent would force me not to be such a raegdumping prick, since then I would learn how to at least show a inkling of fucking respect to idiots I hate :P.

Because you are from the ***** forum, I hesitated to post to this.

But tonight, I will cut you some slack.

Try Nintendulator, I heard Quietust made that cycle accurate emulator for debugging.

Bans from the freenode network: length?

I sent to kline@freenode.net: Hello to whom it may concern: My IP is ***.***.***.*** I was recently banned by the #freenode irdo bot for "spam", when I was in a trolling mood. I am not going to contest or ask for a review of the ban (since I feel my aims of self banning are complete, and s...

Shader GUI/IDEs

Since I am no longer in contact with Ver or DOLLS, I want to ask here for other people's suggestions (or them ideally). I can't seem to find any decent shader GUI for authoring HLSL shaders. RenderMonkey and FX Composer seems bloated, and the others open source ones of course relate to GLSL only. Ba...

i know you'll never take this to heart, but did it ever occur to you that it's only through "popular" sites that new people can be introduced to works such as these? save your vitriol for someone else. I suppose, demo outreach is only done by popular channels I guess like the places I fla...

Re: Jailbreaking and DVD backups actually legal in US now

Franpa: US law != Oz law. However, Australian law does already offer some DVD backup and copying provisions according to "fair dealing" rulings (which are similar to what the US has just implemented), which are for educational uses *only* , and there are strict controls over what a "f...

Re: How can I get the HQX4 shader file, by itself

I'm sure separate VBA builds contain the HQ filters. VBA-M might be one of them.
The HQXX filters were one of the first me and DJRobX added.

There is the Kega Fusion RPI filters I made with HQ4xS, along with downloads.

Re: Best NES emulator?

Thanks, though it can be improved because.....

1) You have to import D3DX
2) It does NOT support LUTs
3) There is no system to load content by source directory.

You can claim the current code as your own, as you did a fair bit of mods anyway, so has Ver.

But back to topic....

Re: How can I get the HQX4 shader file, by itself

Interesting!

Never knew that HQXX was under the LGPL. If only 2xSai and relatives are also. o.o

And snkcube: those source files are not pixel shaders. They are standard CPU filters.

Re: New PC, thoughts?

600W is overkill for that build, unless you're planning on adding an ultra-high-end video card. Righty-o, managed to find a Antec 500W PSU with 40amps on the +12v rail. And at a modest price, too. Oh yeah, Linux support. ATI having better Linux support. HAHA. Linux is dead to me. I can just ask Aam...

Re: New PC, thoughts?

Ordered the initial parts today, which are the case, mobo, RAM, HD, DVD burner and CPU.

Found this for a surge protector board. Still deciding on video card.

Found this for PSU. Would be nice to get something similar in price and specs.

Re: New PC, thoughts?

Yes, the old one did indeed die.

My interim replacement until my new one is sorted is a single core 1.7Ghz Pentium 4, so its still a improvement. The PSU to me is not a worry as I can easily upgrade it later for when the time a proper one is needed.

New PC, thoughts?

http://www.eyo.com.au/trolley.php?wishlist=19883 Finally came up with that. Got a initial budget of $500 AUD to get initial parts. I aimed to build this entirely on a shoestring budget, to finally get a PC up to par with my "old" one, which was a Core 2 Quad 8400. From there, I can afford ...
