OK. I believe that monsters with a diagonal arrow must be connected diagonally to make them disappear. And so on for vertical and horizontal arrows. Hm, but at least the monsters with the vertical arrow also disappear if you connect them horizontally or diagonally. So the arrows must have a differe...

Wario's Woods
Does somebody know what the arrows next to the images of the monsters mean? Mostly they are vertical, but sometimes they are also diagonal. I mean the white arrows which you can see, for example, on these screenshots: http://www.consoleclassix.com/info_img/Warios_Woods_SNES_ScreenShot4.gif http://im...

I'm a DOS game freak, so here's some suggestions. I'll say anything by Apogee (Raptor, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, Realms of Chaos, Duke Nukem 1, 2, and 3D, the Kroz series, BioMenace, Crystal Caves, Secret Agent, Major Stryker, Monster Bash, Stargunner, the Keen series, Blake Stone, Alien Carnage, W...

Here is what I changed in src\win\winlink.cpp of revision 4538 to fix my analog stick. The forum user joebells asked me about this and here is my quick fix (about line 2919). Of course byuu's suggestion would be much better, but what I needed was just a quick 'n dirty fix. if (!X1Disable[i]) { if (j...

Make sure you are using the latest version of zget. The revision prompt is only asked on the second run (assuming the first run is successful). I'm using Zget 4.2. I didn't get the prompt on the second run. I used Subversion (TortoiseSVN) to download the source of revision 4538 and then I compiled ...

I don't suppose you'd be interested in trying out one of my software programs to see if the joypad support there works for you? I poll the POV hat the same way, so if it's broken there, I can try fixing it. If that works, we can apply the fix to ZSNES. I understand if you're busy or don't want to. ...

[Bug report] 2 Roms which work in 1.42 don't work in 1.51
I'm talking about "Kirby's Avalanche" and "Super Puyo Puyo 2". I'm using ZSNES for Windows. Both games work in 1.42 but they don't in 1.51. I haven't tested them with any versions in between. Kirby's Avalanche: CRC: 21E658B8, Checksum OK When I start Kirby's Avalanche in ZSNES 1....

Your best bet is to try out the Windows control panel joypad calibrator. If you are able to make the movements you want, then ZSNES' driver could use some work. If you are not, then throw your gamepad away :( The gamepad works fine in the game controller configuration in the the windows control pan...

Ignore Down+Left, Down+Right, Up+Left, Up+Right?
If one uses a gamepad with a 8 way d-pad, playing in ZSNES becomes a pain. The reason is that e.g. pressing Downleft on the d-pad results in Left and Down being sent at the same time (or nearly at the same time) and ZSNES treats this as if only Left was pressed (at least with my P1500 gamepad). This...
