I fully agree with Franky about this "global warming" rubbish. -CO2 is a plant food. ->CO2=>biodiversity -Al Gore's (or however the fuck you spell his name) graphs, showing how the tempriture increases with CO2 levels, a jigged . -the level of CO2 in the atmosphere increases as temp. rises...

You should start by google'ing "Play Station Controller Protocol". Don't write, "PS2 controller protocol" 'cause it will bring up pages about the PS/2 mouse/keyboard protocol.

I don't know if anybody has already made such an adapter, but with some programming knowledge, electronics/soldering skills, an oscilloscope and lots of patience, I'm sure it's quite possible to make one yourself. But I don't know for sure, I've never look into the PS(2) controller protocol.... coul...

You could have modded your pad for an older driver (that may use different parrallel port pins for clock/latch etc.)

I would try "remoding" your controller and get the coresponding driver for it.

I keep my consoles in my closet and only pull 'em out to use 'em.

My prize console is a brand new Platinum GameCube that has never even been powered on.... who knows, in 10 years time it could be worth a shiny penny.... I saw a brand new snes (on ebay) go for $600 a few months ago.

I would hate to think that Snes9X is dead.... I find the GUI way more user friendly sorry guys.... just MHO

I don't mind the Gamecube D-pad, but i despise the wiimote d-pad. IMO the N64 D-pad was the best.... too bad no games ever used it.... until i made my snes adapter :P You need moar Pokemon Stadium in your life. Bah.... pokemon.... I don't mind the Gamecube D-pad... Aaaaand we can safely ignore ever...

Do you recon it would be possible (not that I want to attempt this) to port apple software to PC? I mean if its an x86 based mac, all the opcodes and operands should be the same as PC? It would just be a matter of changing how the program interacts with the kernal right? Not that it really matters. ...
