Nestopia fights crime! Prevents violence

Once upon a time someone stole my entire NES collection when my brother loaned it to a friend. Badly in need of my Ninja Turtles 2 and Zelda fix I went looking on the "interweb" as Al Gore so lovingly puts it (lol) and came across RockNESX. Yes that's right. RockNESX was my first. It stole...

Yeah I really think if this keeps up AamirM will reach his goal of being as good if not better than Kega sooner than later. Usually out of this early of a release you see preliminary compatibility which is to say this emulator is very impressive. My main thing is fullscreen doesn't seem to have any ...

AamirM "Regen"erating interest in Sega emulation

Not to deviate too far off AamirM's topic, but I daresay there is some emulators that do try to aim for both. That is, they aim for high accuracy, AND be fast. I know blargg's QuickNES is one example. Its cycle accurate, and its very fast. :P Nestopia is quite feature rich, as well as being optimiz...

Does it matter what sort of core it uses, as long as its accurate? Do you see cycle accuracy as the ONLY way to achieving what you call "decent" emulation? Or to that end, any emulator that DOESN'T follow these philosophies is NOT a decent emulator? I would honestly like to hear where you...

The race is on...

Now the race is on to see who will release the first major emulator update with SVP support. This is great ^^ I was beginning to think the emulation scene was in decline because none of the major emulators have been updated in ages and in most cases years. Something like this was needed to spark int...

Yeah I heard about that renewal thing before but I didn't think it was truth. O.o I'm not sure what is more interesting. That it is true or that they let it happen every year.

I don't know if anyone cares anymore but there is a SNES XBAND modem on eBay right now wil very few bids but it only has 15 hours left. I would bid for the good of the community but they only take PayPal and I can't put anything on my card for a few more weeks. Still recovering from Christmas spendi...
