Hi, This is the second time someone has reported this MKII problem so I'll be looking into that. AamirM Thanks, though keep in mind that it just caught my attention as being different, right now I have no idea which one is correct - actually, Regen may be playing it back correctly (or not), I don't...

Thanks a lot for your hard work, AamirM! :) I'll be testing it in detail very soon. I played Mortal Kombat 2 a bit, and Regen sounds a bit different from Kega there, though I'm not sure which one is correct because it's been a long while since I played MK2 on a real thing :( Gosh, I really wish my S...

...even when there is no noticeable difference at all. Which makes me wonder, why not compromise. There is no such thing as perfection after all, so why the constant chase for it? Well, as long as there is no noticeable difference at all, it's certainly possible to compromise by optimizing things h...

Thanks a lot for all your hard work, AamirM, and sorry to bother you with stuff that may be obvious or not a bug at all... I'll try the S-Video mode, thanks for the tip! Good luck with your Power electronics paper! EDIT: S-Video mode sure did the trick! Awesome! :) Speaking of the Sonic the Hedgehog...

OK, here's what my testing has shown so far: In Regen, the waterfalls in Zone 1 Act 3 of Sonic the Hedgehog (W) (REV00) [!] flicker quite badly - see saved game in my post above; btw, for some reason I can't reload my saved state file - it just won't load (it loads up corrupted - I can't play after ...

Sonic the Hedgehog does a similar trick with the waterfalls in the first stage of the first game. They're supposed to blur into a transparent layer, not be a mess of lines. Yeah, speaking of which, the TV RF mode in Kega Fusion looks sooo much like the good ol' Megadrive on my old and not-so-high-q...

A little report here: in Regen, the 'Sonic jumping' sound in Sonic the Hedgehog (W) (REV00) [!] has very low volume, not sure if it's normal, can't remember how it was on the real hardware... in Kega Fusion it's louder, but once again, I'm not sure how exactly it should sound since I can't remember,...

Yeah, it's exactly what I was talking about when I said that building a perfect emulator of a system, in our case Sega Megadrive, is indeed a difficult task. The thing is - we're not talking about emulation of standalone Megadrive components, such as 68000, YM2612, Z80, or something else. These comp...

I just learned about this emulator the other day and I'd like to express my gratitude for such a remarkable effort! I've always been a fan of the Sega Megadrive/Genesis system, and the idea of a perfect (or well, perhaps I should say as close to perfect as possible) emulator always came to my mind, ...
