I believe .srm files are the save game files used by the roms and not plain save states, just load up your game, load a save via the load game menu and there you go.

I know the DNF jokes are a bit tired and old but, it has to be said.

I've always liked the style of the GUI in ZSNES, never known why.

I'd say the Samsung NC10, it has a larger keyboard than the others and the battery life is excellent
