Will fix.

Re: D3D/OpenGL shader thread. Reborn.
I know Themaister's SSNES supports Cg in Windows and it doesn't need extra libraries to be distributed. Huh? Really. Maybe the libraries/headers were included with your GFX drivers or something. I had to explicitly install it along with headers on my Win7 partition at least, and I have an nVidia ca...

Re: D3D/OpenGL shader thread. Reborn.
Say whaaa? You're talking about some sort of parser involved there right? Wow... Yeah, you remember a while back I created a D3D9 shader hook DLL to infest your favourite emulator/game with fullscreen shaders? Now I am revisiting it to add OpenGL support. Now, since then, people have made a custom ...

Re: D3D/OpenGL shader thread. Reborn.
Existing single-pass shaders take the input texture and render it to the backbuffer I take it the shaders are written to be implementation independant? That way, they are not tied to specific framebuffer sizes. Last time I checked some shaders, some made some assumptions to do with the SNES, but th...

Re: D3D/OpenGL shader thread. Reborn.
Okay, questions: 1) Does it really matter if we use FBOs? Why not plain textures in use being accessed directly in the shaders? Plus, from that, you get full NPOT textures. Not sure if you run into the same issues with NPOT FBOs. Current DLL uses full screen-size framebuffer textures to capture back...

D3D/OpenGL shader thread. Reborn.
I got back to work on writing shaders via a hook DLL. Previously it worked on D3D9 only. http://stashbox.org/1090200/Capture.JPG http://stashbox.org/1090408/koolshock.JPG Yes, my DLL now works in OpenGL now. So it should work on many more emulators. However, recently on some forum, they started a XM...

Today, while getting ready to do some stuff (ie..mostly emulator related), I found this in my mailbox. Its a package from my very close friend. She is currently in the USA on exchange there for a psychology course. What I didn't expect is how epic the package would really be. http://mudlord.emuxhave...

Re: State of SNES Emulation - 2010
That changed ever since byuu turned into a mindless whining douchebag. He whined so much, that he decided to make a emulator about it. So he did. And now thanks to BSNES, everyone wants cycle accuracy for stuff like PS1/N64/other shit were its not needed. The person made cycle accuracy a household n...

Oh yes, props to Themaister and other BSNES droogs for porting it.
It would be nice to know what parts of the API they consider to be redundant so that it can be fixed upstream....

OpenGL is a API, not a system library.
SDL is a library.
The drivers themselves implement OpenGL. Unless you are talking about shit like Mesa, that is....

Makes anything redundant. Especially when you have the private AND public keys.adventure_of_link wrote:I guess this kinda now makes CFWs redundant huh (unless you wanna run LEGAL backups of your PSP and PSone games)?
Having those for ECDSA/ECC, well.....makes the entire thing open.
hah.

Didn't you already have a hardware verified LUT to do this...or was that just for register initialization?

Gil: I say for the N64 end, speed. Low level emulating the RDP would be quite taxing. At least with the RSP and co, you get some dynarec to help at least. So, really, HLE is just a massive speed hack. And it allows for funky shit like texture replacement. As for PS, dunno why. pSX should work, last ...

Call of Duty: Black Ops. Yes I know
And legit too, via Steam.
Wanted to buy Super Meat Boy, because I hate all the broken scene releases....And, because its one of those super rare games I would buy for saying a big fuck you to PETA with its character cheat.....

Re: nemulator
Indeed.
Just sarcasm is all, because I actually quite like your emulator design. Very unique
That...and also, I don't see the point of every single emu going cycle accuhurtz for the hell of it, because someone else does it. >.>
