Wow, already? Myself, I'm planning on buying Vista along with a memory upgrade to 2GB with my tax refund. I'm not gonna install Vista just yet, but if I don't buy it now it's unlikely I'll come across enough money to do so again. These last couple years I've had a big deduction that next year will n...

And use 60Hz refresh for an authentic experience (although I don't know if your eyes will like it ) Heh, thanks, and yeah my eyes can take it. At 1280x960 my monitor maxes out at 70...

For the bilinear filtering, you should turn it off for an authentic NES experience. There's difference between PAL and NTSC TVs,NTSC has visible scanlines, with scanline intensity somewhere between 50% and 100% (depending on the TV) PAL TVs do not have visible scanlines,or you may notice something si...

First off, I'd like to commend Marty for writing such a fantastic emulator. Of all the NES emulators I've used, this is by far the best. Now, a question. Now I know this is something that's been asked a million times by now, but I'm trying to get it to look as close to my TV as I can. I'm not reachi...

HDD's catching on fire I've heard of. But exploding cd's? Fuck, that's insane! Though it does make sense for it to happen if a cd spins that fast.

I already reported this bug, and it has since been fixed. It was caused by a problem with 'SRAM Check+Save'. See pagefault's new build in the WIP thread here.
OK, thanks. I'll try out that build, then. :)

I still can't get it to work. I edited the cfg file to make zsnes open in 640x480 res but when I try to open it, it still tries to set 512x448. Why won't it obey the cgf file? And, also, this is a stupid question, but what's RTFM? :? (sorry for multiple smilies, but that's how I feel right now)

Well, I think I figured out my problem. When I try opening it in the command line I get the error "Could not set 512x448 video mode: No available video device"
Does this mean I don't have the drivers for my video card?
