Same here. It played REALLY SLOW with Vesa 2.0 for transparencies.
Yep, the old VESA 2.0 mode :)

Must have been around 1998-1999 when I first found SNES emulation, and ZSNES. I'd be playing the real SNES since 1992. I couldn't get enough of emulation at the time :P Almost 10 years later, I'm still interesting in emulation; though it seems the general interest has quietened down over the years (...

I have no problem with black bars either side of the image; the same way it never bothered me when widescreen was introduced to movies on video back in the early 1990s. Correct ratio is important to me, what can I say :P (That notebook setting I checked today: a 1280x800 screen res, with ZSNES confi...

Yeah, you don't want to go stretching the screen; of course if you're not SFC-SNES "purist" about what you see, then it doesn't matter :P I recently put ZSNES + games on a friend's laptop which has a widescreen display. It took me a few goes to remember the screen option settings and find ...

grinvader, I don't see a 3.3 exe file; the file name is "bg-sj33_exe.rar" but the version is still 3.2 when I run the program.

It's not really important I suppose, since the 3.2 install seems to work just fine.

Great, thanks. I already downloaded both from your link.

Do I still have to "Restore Default Settings" when I replace the 3.2 with the 3.3 EXE?

Cheers :)

EDIT: Hmm, the player still says 3.2 after I replace the file.

grinvader's 3.2 version linked in this thread is nice and stable, but if you have the JMA version and you have a moment could you post a link to it, please? :)

Super Jukebox...

I just downloaded Super Jukebox 3.3 to listen to some favorite SFC-SNES tracks, and though the player is good it crashes frequently (usually this:) http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/6110/uematsudllerroryl9.png I've googled for help but not found anything, apart from a quick tip on another forum rec...

Format 128x128 is actually used on Macintosh OSX only. Windows XP does not display 128x128 icon formats in normal mode. By default, display is limited to 48x48 icons. However, this format can be implemented to deal with Desktop enhancement applications like ObjectDock . I guess you might like to ha...

ZSNES Home Page masthead...

Probably been mentioned before, and though it's trivial I just noticed the red and blue button colors in the ZSNES home page masthead image are in the wrong positions - blue should be at the top; red on the right.

Maybe it was intentional. Oh well :D

Other reasons include not wanting someone to modify the game to something else and then sell that. I'd imagine that would still be illegal due to character copyrights etc.. but it just opens one more door that could hurt potentially hurt the company. I think we are at a happy medium.
