I remember that hack slows down in ZSNES when there's snow falling, or when transparency is massively used (crystal cave)...
I've been told that wouldn't happen on a real console, though.

Funny.

Typos though:
"Midnight vampires flee from ZSNES and it's (its) control of garlic toast"...
"In blabla days something will be at it's peak"
"Why did you load ZSNES for ? (...)" (shouldn't it be "WHAT did you..." ?)

The ZSNES open-source Super Nintendo emulator, available for Microsoft Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, and DOS, beats other emulators with its superior compatibility, stability, graphics, audio , and usability. I like ZSNES a lot and it's the SNES emu I use the most, but people shouldn't confuse "mos...

SVN (SubVersioN) is different from WIP... I won't get into details though, but let's just say that you must compile SVN yourself (using zget), and SVN is more up to date than WIPs, as you get the very latest version available. Anyway... You'd better wait for the new sound core to work before conside...

A recent SVN revision had a comment along the lines of "Fixed BT&DD", so I guess this problem may already be solved.

Amusingly, you say those translators need to grow up, yet you bash them in a quite immature way.

I'd say I agree with your point, but not with the way you formulated it.

Over 95%? Genecyst was probably over 95% and that old emu has been long surpased by Gens and even more so by Kega Fusion Actually, I doubt Genecyst could play over 95% of the games. It played almost all of the most popular games properly, but I'm pretty sure it choked on many of the more obscure on...

Is Kega Fusion's Genesis emulation over 95%? Because they are not making any updates anymore. Yep, it's over 95%... All games run apart from the only one that uses a special chip: Virtua Racing. However, Street Racer got broken in the last big update... It works at first, but freezes after you fini...

Kega is much more accurate and stable than Gens, and I don't care about filters, so my choice is obvious... Plus, it has a great netplay mode.

I'm pleased to announce the 73rd release of ZSNES - ZSNES v1.51.

This release is mostly a bunch of bug fixes for things new and altered in v1.51.
Don't you mean v1.50 the second time ?

Can't find a v1.51 link anywhere on the site, too...

TMNT 1 on the NES is actually a port of the original PC version, I think... Or is it the other way around ? *shrugs*
Anyway, I had the PC version back when I was a kid, and as we didn't have many games back then, I played it like mad and finished it a couple of times, playing with the keyboard...
