And yet, when someone report a ( presumed ) bug...(sometimes it occur on the actual console) without confirming it happens on the real thing, you don't hear any objections :? Best references imo: 1)Screenshot of the real thing 2) bsnes 3) A user's memory  I would say user memory is a pretty go...

Thank you, zidanax. As for the konami logo fade bug, that is indeed genuine. I personally was aware of it, and anyone who reads the bsnes thread should be, as we recently compared wavs from most major emus using the first 3:30 of castlevania iv as reference. I used a digital loopback for both record...

Ah, well that's unfortunate. The wavs still might reveal some things. I can't give you any advice on the mod, because I didn't do it. The Alpha-ii guy did. :) If you want, I could loan it to you. It's one of those yellow-immune sneses, too. *unf unf* You would need an optical input. If all you have ...

http://alpha-ii.com/Info/snes-spdif.html There we go. Heh, I might just try this. I can spare a $3 SNES or two :D I think I've mentioned several times that I have an snes with this mod performed, optical output. I can record some digital bit-perfect wavs (32khz of course) and post them for people i...

It's funny. I'm not a rocket scientist. I don't know the intricacies. All I know is that there is a logic that comes before all that mumbo jumbo. It's separate from it. Upgrading your sound card or speakers is going to improve the sound. More accurate spc emulation is going to improve the sound (tha...

I question some of those as advantages. I have a high end soundcard with Sennheiser HD580 headphones, and I can only just barely pick up the difference between a 16/48 and 24/96 version of a file. And I'm a huge audio buff. Now, those were seperate recordings. Here, we're dealing with an upsampling ...

Omg *loves the pixel filter* Only issue I've run into that you might not already know about... when in a full screen video mode, I cannot access the filter options (possibly other windows too, I'm at work right now). It does create the window, but it creates it behind the main where you can't see it...
