Re: Micro Machines 2-Turbo Tournament(E)-Poor Hit Detection

Have you had a chance to take a look at the glitch?

Re: Micro Machines 2-Turbo Tournament(E)-Poor Hit Detection

I'm sure there are some low-quality games that make it to market without being beta tested, but this is a problem with the emulator only. I dare you to try to finish Stream Struggle(23) on Time Trials.

Micro Machines 2-Turbo Tournament(E)-Poor Hit Detection

Has anyone played MM2TT here? You'll know about the glitch if you hit a wall and are turning at the same time, you get stuck on the wall till you can reverse off it or you're given a new drop point. This is most pronounced on courses such as Stream Struggle(23), Crossing Chaos(21), Musical Hits(19),...

Re: NETPLAY IS BROKEN - Complete Re-write Upcoming

I would think it would simply involve more data checking/matching because there are 6 possibilities for data transfer or 3x as many as before for 3 players. 4 to 5 would get a bit more complicated. There are sites that run 16-player matches for PC games, but the netplay framework is obviously comple...

Re: NETPLAY IS BROKEN - Complete Re-write Upcoming

That's a relief. I was beginning to wonder if this would ever support 3-5 players. Connection speeds are now 10x what they were 5 years ago.

There are particular firewalls that won't allow you to connect to zbattle or ZSNES no matter how many ports you enable or if you disable the whole router firewall. I know 2Wire is particular to zbattle, not sure about ZSNES. The Netgear Router WGT624 won't allow you to connect to zbattle but will ZS...

50/60Hz and the improbable chance of a good time in SMK

The time trials site of Super Mario Kart http://www.geocities.com/smkplayerssite is one of the most active sites for classic gaming competition. On one particular course, Ghost Valley 1, there is a shortcut over a small gap after the 3rd turn. The gap is measured to be eight sprites long using Track...

thanks for all the info. my snes is run through a tvbox with s-video. as you see, the vertical lines are visible, but better than any av. i'll try the dvd optimization. i'll buy a graphics card with rgb support in about a year. does anyone have screens of what snes games look like with rgb?

bad graphics quality on real snes

why are the graphics so good in zsnes, but everything's fuzzy with the tv? is the default setting of zsnes achievable with the snes? also, is there an optimal hue/saturation/brightness on the tv to match zsnes, or do i need rgb cables? http://img159.exs.cx/img159/3853/snes9az.png http://img159.exs.c...

zmv/zst labelling

would it be possible to enter descriptions for zmv's and zst's while in zsnes? i have thousands of mario kart matches in zmv, which i record for spectacular or unusual plays. unfortunately, i lose track of the match number as the hours pile on. if possible, could it be output to a text file with the...

well, you record off zmv's. but occasionally, i'll want to record a glitch which i can only pull off 1/1000 tries. maybe i could get this number down to 1/500 if i didn't have slowdown while playing. and how can you view whether one frame is dropped unless that frame is a pivotal point?--i don't not...

i use hypercam dx 2 and easy video capture 1.2. they seem to work alright, and they support divx output except they lag zsnes while i'm playing and recording at 30fps. anyone know how fraps compares?

what about an ON/OFF hotkey that enables/disables the rest of the game keys or controller config keys. i could set this key to something useless like L1, then use the D-Pad to select states and such, and enable the controller config keys again. is this a bitch to program?
