The gameplay was phenomenal, it's just the story that's lacking. That's what stopped me from finishing it unfortunately.

Apple can't get games to their operating system, and you want them to make a console?

Sucks for Sony. I can't justify buying a PS3 just for Metal Gear Solid 4 and Gran Turismo 5.

Firefox plugin question

Say when you're typing a response and you accidentally close the tab or backspace out of the page, or Firefox crashes. Is there an addon that saves text you've entered?

Edit: more googling reveals this

Wii Fit

Anyone else got one? I picked it up for my girlfriend when it came out and then got hooked on it myself. I've been going to the gym 2-3 times a week for a year or so now, but the Wii Fit got me more interested in cardio and weight loss as opposed to just weightlifting and strength training. It's ver...

It's easier to keep them in good shape when there's no snow or salt. Roads in some of the southern US states are amazing.

Mine locked up there as well - I started with it so I figured it just wasn't going to work on my PSP. Maybe I'll give another scenario a try?

Works on ZSNES, seems to crash SNES9x for PSP while patching, which sucks for me. Extending target from 6324320 to 14680064 - then a hard reboot.

Edit - nevermind, had to deinterlace, then patch it. Working great - thanks for all of the hard work, can't wait to play it!

Do yourself a favor. Play 1 and pretend 2 and 3 do not exist.
I'd recommend playing 1, watching the cutscenes from 2, and then playing 3.

Best Plot / Atmosphere

So I'm again looking for gems I may have missed, from a different angle this time. Most games are playable these days, but the stories just don't keep me interested. What are some of your favorite plots, why, etc? Favorite stories for me include: Xenogears Xenosaga (I was excellent, II sucked, III s...

Way older he says - perhaps my 15 year estimate is conservative. He recalls that Another World was out at the time, which would make it 1991 or thereabout.

Name that game: PC

Friend is describing a game to me. It's a sidescroller like Metroid, but you can fly. It was an older game for the PC, like 15+ years ago. Any ideas, or pointed questions I can ask?
