The X-Fi's latest drivers have an OpenAL wrapper in them, although it isn't perfect yet I hear it works. I have not switched to vista yet and I'm not sure I am going to with my desktop anytime soon, but it is good to know that by the time I might think about it my X-Fi should work.

Maybe they do tax like a lot of other online sales, depending on what state you are in, although I don't know why michigan would charge tax since Nintendo is in washington. It hasn't shown up on my account yet, but the Wii told me $31.80 or something like that.

You have to pay tax when using a credit card too, my total purchase price yesterday was $31.80 or something like that.

Has anyone ever bought points without buying a card? How is it done? I haven't looked yet, but I thought I remembered hearing it was possible.

I finally got my Wii yesterday so I was thinking about buying a few VC games, but I have this game in so many different forms I am not sure that I am going to spend the money for it.I may be better off to get SUper Mario 64, which I only have in one form, and I have never been too much into the N64'...

Yes. It didn't help that I was 8 years old, didn't get any instruction manual with it, and before the internet and help files existed. Took me a long time just to figure out the controls.

Alcohol 120% is the best program I have used, and most games will work with any image format, although I usually use Alcohol's native format. Proprietary doesn't really apply with CD images, since most programs support most formats. ISO will have the most support though, and if most of your games ar...

Yeah this is one case where I have a hard time blaming the woman. Most people don't realize water can kill you. This is similar to putting a saltwater fish in a freshwater tank, but who would think that? The fact that the station ran this contest apparently without researching anything isn't right, ...

Classic controllers are actually one of the few things I CAN find. Most of the stores around here have at least one. I have never seen an extra nunchuck, but I did buy three wiimotes on launch day. They are also sitting on my desk, useless.

I hit a deer when I was 17, about 8 years ago. Was a half mile from home after work, driving past my uncles house and I never saw it until it was on the road, didn't even have time to brake. I drove a minivan then, smashed it pretty good, but it was old, the amount of fixing it received was an off c...

Ah, thanks for pointing that out Deathlike2. I'm playing BoFII on a WIP and so far I haven't had any trouble fighting on the world map. I ordered a few off ebay last year, I didn't order anything special, just a normal cheap one, and the different was like night and day. Buy one and throw it in there, you won't be disappointed.
