I see, I thought the Earthworm Jim games were meant to work ok on Snes9x. I read though that one of them lacks sound on ZSNES.

True that, it's annoying. Especially when one has a shitty old computer.

Re: Getting frame rate drops in zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to

Compatibility list is, as with the other major Super Nintendo emulators, "almost everything". It should actually see better compatibility than ZSNES. Well they say on the Snes9x forum that you should use bsnes for games like Super Punch Out and Speedy Gonzales etc. I believe the problems ...

Do you know what games have been fixed or improved? Is there a compatibility list for Snes9x?

Re: Super Mario RPG freezing

I'm sure it is better, but still not perfect. Getting a Wii/Wii U and getting the virtual console release is an option in Europe. Stop being a cheap-skate. How do you know it's not perfect? I thought bsnes is meant to have perfected everything on the SNES, that's what I've read. I'm not a cheap-ska...

It even has problems on bsnes?

Re: Has anyone tried to modify ZSNES with a better sound cor

I personally never had that issue, I use an Xbox 360 controller without any issues, be that as it may, the amount is negligible. Snes9x shares the same S-SMP core Bsnes/Higan uses, which was programmed by Blargg, it's very accurate and spot on to the real machine IMHO. Oddly enough, injecting Earth...

Re: Has anyone tried to modify ZSNES with a better sound cor

Try ZMZ, it Snes9x with the Zsnes GUI, using Libretro cores, so it's the best of both worlds; Zsnes has horrendously inaccurate S-SMP emulation >< http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=viewthread&t=67700 You can't even play Earthworm Jim 2 on Zsnes with full sound effects lol. I've read a lot of people ...
