...but this is an awesome game. My 2nd favorite in the Zelda series.
I actually like Zelda IV Link's Awakening (Game Boy) the most by far.

At least I'm somewhat more assured that I'm not missing out on some better plugin. I'm surprised by how useless Google was in this situation. I'm not too surprised. There's so much confusion and misinformation when it comes to this kind of stuff. Until the past couple years, a lot of people still r...

I tried that one a long time ago and loved it, but it crashed constantly for some reason on various systems. The author had said it was "complete" and said there would be no more development.grinvader wrote:As to displaying info, nothing comes close to super jukebox... but it's using an outdated core.

I could see why the support for such a thing was added for the N64, so people could use their memory cards. Could the Adaptoid be used for really oddball addons like the microphone? I never actually did it, but I believe it worked. I believe it also worked with the 64GB pack. Definitely worked with...

Best way to play SPCs?
My 15-year-old nephew is playing the hell out of the Megaman X games and is becoming a fan of game music. I set him up remotely with Winamp Lite (which I haven't used for years) and downloaded / organized a huge selection of SPC files. Using Google to find the best SPC playback solution is tough. Mo...

All this reminds me of the N64. With the N64, Nintendo used optical sensors instead of potentiometers to make sure to make sure it was 100% accurate and precise (not considering the wear on the mechanical parts). I don't know if there was a cost in resolution, but I know of several examples do demon...

I'm trying to play some downloaded NSF files for Super Mario Bros 3. The Foobar2000 player with GEP (Game Emulation Player) plugin sounds horrible. Something is wrong with it. When I disable the "DMC" channel, the horrible buzzing goes away, but part of the music is lost. My system runs Wi...

I tried it when there was only the first release. DOS was the only version. Controls had to use the Insert/Del/PgUp/PgDn keys and could not be reconfigured. There was no GUI, no configuration files, and no options whatsoever. The ROM had to be specified as a command-line parameter like most DOS apps...

By the way, the winxp start menu can have more anchored items other than just internet and email, you just have to drag your shortcuts there; it is best to use it that way rather than rely or the mfu shortcuts (which can be set to more than six it has by default). That would be counter intuitive. T...

dude if you're gonna do compatibility testing for 98, then you should do it with 95, and 3.1 as well. windows 98 does not exist anymore. p.s. if you're having trouble disabling the quick launch bar then you have much larger problems. right click the start menu and uncheck quick launch. I said that ...

It could be a a configuration problem with a router on the remote side that both computers are behind. If DMZ or port forwarding was configured to forward to a specific local IP, it is likely that the local IP addresses have changed and now the other computer is assigned the IP that is set up in the...

I'm EXTREMELY productive with the keyboard in Windows XP. Even when mousing is required, I'm still extremely productive with the other hand on the keyboard. I often don't have to switch back to the keyboard as long as my left hand remains on it working in tandem with the mouse to make context menu s...

I love my job.
I work in tech support for a small, local, cable ISP. I frequently go on lunch break or return from my weekend off to find voicemail messages from customers that somehow found their way into my voice mailbox. I think that the phone system sometimes glitches and dumps them into my voicemail, because ...
