Standard Interrupt Vector Table?

Hi So, I was reading about interrupts on wikipedia. Haven't messed around with zsnes or 65c816 coding in a while, but it got me thinking about interrupt vector tables. When you're coding an SNES game, are there standard interrupt vector types that SNES or ZSNES expects? Like are they actually requir...

I've had that problem before on Win98SE. It would just randomly do it when first loading up ZSNES. Deleting zsnes files, updating DX and video drivers, fullscreen mode, etc, nothing would fix it when it felt like doing it. Now I'm on Win2k SP4, and it does it occasionally (randomly) while playing a ...

ok, well I don't know if it's been mentioned already in this thread, but 2 player versus locked up on me at the start line of the race when I tried to play it with someone online, and 2 player championship desynced on us before we could even start the first race. EDIT: feb 28 wip, we both have same ...

It's the same with asking to implement a Close ROM option (which also would be nice to have, but yeah it's all that GUI stuff which is apparently hard to edit). Yes, I imagine it would be hard, but the code is already there, isn't it? It's used twice, once during the load save state dialogue, and a...

Pause Emulation?

Is there a pause button in ZSNES? Like the pause function in MAME? Would be usefull for parts of the games that don't let you pause, or like if you want to pause while watching a Zsnes movie. Because I was analyzing a zmv movie of a fighting game match in slow motion, and it would be nice to pause d...

What about setting it lower then 100? Or is that even possible? Does it ruin things also, or just slow everything down? Just curious, never tried it myself.

um, shouldn't the people that experience bad netplay also be reporting in this thread? Why just the people it works for? So why don't you be the first. You seem to be doing everything but what is asked for. Did you ever post anything we wanted? Did you test a single test build I made when I wanted ...

Re: A good Snes Disassembler?

Skued, WLA DX is the newest, most actively updated and "best" 65816 assembler (and other cpus) I've found. I remember reading on their forums or the webpage that the creator of WLA DX was planning on working on a dissasembler. I asked him if 65816 support would be in it, and he said of cou...

DraculaX's post is proof right there that it isn't just me experiencing this. And here's some more proof courtesy of the zbattle forum: "My memories on desyncing in the past. It was either 1.35 or 1.337, there was a certain game that would desync, Faceball 2000 or something like that. Also, ano...

OK, whatever you say man. All I know is I can be playing the same person, and I'll switch back and forth between 1.36 and RC1. 1.36 = Fine, RC1/WIP = desync city. Switch back and forth again, and same story. Everything has the same settings, same game, etc. Maybe the Internet decides to be evil and ...

It's the same code? That's impossible because when me and many others switch to WIP we get desync city, then when we use 1.36 it works fine. Or maybe something else in the code besides the netplay code is indirectly causing the desyncs.

Static RAM in the SNES carts

Static RAM, that is what it's called right? What kind of battery does it use to keep the data from erasing? (wattage?) Like the ones that wristwatches and BIOS's use? I don't know how they work, Is it continually powered up through battery power, or is it periodically powered, and does the SNES powe...

I could make save states with it before, but not anymore. I didn't have a save folder set, it was saving it to my rom folder (which is read only EDIT: actually its not read only, the roms are read only, my bad)
but I made a new folder for RC1 saves and put it in config file and now it works
