Let's clear the air of misinformation. BSNES can't take advantage of multiple cores because it uses cooperative multi-threading. It's coded multiple threads, but uses ONE processor core. http://byuu.cinnamonpirate.com/?page=libco It was a software design CHOICE by byuu for performance. With the spec...

That is solely your opinion. I have gone on record as preferring 2xSAI to HQ2x in most cases both are offered. It just looks visually better to ME. You can't say that any filter is 'lower quality' than another. It's a matter of personal preference. Would you call the difference between grayscale an...

Nestopia isn't the only modern emulator that doesn't support the 2xSaI filter. Mednafen only supports the HQX, ScaleX, and NTSC filters. And if I remember correctly, bsnes didn't support it either. I suppose emulator authors think it is cumbersome to support it since it is getting old, doesn't have...

Do you have an interface design for this SPC Player? I hope your player will have visual hardware status such as Super Jukebox. Aside from SPCTool, it's the only player that does this that I can think of and it's damn cool. I've actually even used it as crude, easy debugging for some SPC700/DSP work...

Yeah. I don't buy that argument - it's just an easy way for Google to reduce traffic. Bandwidth people bandwidth! All those shaved bytes all add up into cost savings! Well, in Google's case, I suppose saving 1KB per hit might be a valid excuse. Maybe, but browsers support this thing known as...

I really don't think it takes much time to be standards compliant with your web code. This big tirade over wasting time over something nobody notices is unfounded. On all the sites I have developed, I have rarely had to spend any extra time on standards compliance. A competent web developer will inh...

yes I forgot about SMW Central, as I usually got there via acmlm. and they do have some good stuff Romhacking doesn't, but if you find something good, submit it to Romhacking so other people don't have to go digging like you did. What a concept! Amazing. Somebody who actually knows how to use ROMha...

I stand corrected gentlemen. In this specific case, the shootings were in fact done by a legally purchased gun. Detailed Story on Yahoo Based on this, better gun control or banning of firearms would have indeed prevented this incident. But you know what else is a problem? If you read that article an...

Right. What good is gun control reforment? How many of these incidents take place by people who have legally purchased licensed guns?
Those people who are determined to get guns are going to get guns regardless of gun control laws. No amount of laws can stop drugs and no amount of laws can stop guns.

It's really ridiculous. People ask questions before they bother to Google. WHY? In many cases they could have answered their own question in 5 minutes. It should be the other way around. At least TRY and Google first. If you get unsatisfactory results there, THEN ask other people. Why are people so ...

The deal just went down a few months ago. They've only released one minor update since then. Of course the current version is OK. The point is, it's going to go the same direction as Bit Torrent, the official client. The studios WILL do what's necessary to protect any content. The whole point of uTo...

uTorrent sold out by the way late last year. It was bought by BitTorrent which in turn is affiliated with record labels aka RIAA. http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=17278 I wouldn't upgrade uTorrent if I were you. I don't blame the guy. Antec NeoHE 430W which has run the system great for a year and a half. It has power distributed in all the right places. The voltage lines are stable and never falter. Runs rings around the 500W supply that came with the case originally. I don't see how the power supply is related.franpa wrote:power supply?
