Kubuntu and Ubuntu Live CD's fails to boot on my system. Linux driver support still leaves alot to be desired. At least windows can can usually boot just about anything with some generic drivers to at least get you going. I get the feeling it may be a hardware combo issue. Probably. Both Kubuntu an...

eh, i don't care about any new mana games, unless if they remade sd3. That game should be ported, if not just to have an official translation. The game doesn't need to have another set of ultimate equipment because that is a sure way to add stupidity to an almost balanced game. Good point. I almost...

2xSai is one of my favorite filters as well. I still prefer it in ZSNES as well. I agree completely. hqxx filters make things a bit too sharp and unnatural looking to me. 2xSai is a step up from simple blurry interpolation that is a happy medium.

I agree. That screams of behind the curtain politics going on. Perhaps even a conspiracy with Microsoft, who knows. I'd tell that company to stick and then parade it around the Internet until they get enough bad press to resolve the issue. Running Linux will in no way damage your keyboard. That's ab...

It depends on the type of threesome. I think most guys fantasize about the type where there are two women who want nothing more than to satisfy HIM and they take care of each other. No worries there, only enjoyment. That's potentially why threesomes probably don't work as nice in real life. But what...

I just mentioned that because there have been a few complaints over at ROM hacking.net with people being unable to use their savestates on one of the 1.5x versions. That was probably with 1.50. I don't remember now. Sounds like that issue was worked out and there shouldn't be any problem in most cas...

Sounds like you guys have yourselves a good plan. It's probably overdue. DirectDraw, as nice as it was for 2D applications such as ZSNES, hasn't moved forward in years and it's finally starting to show. Like all things, eventually you need to update with the times. We've already done the DD vs. D3D ...

Yeah, there's a plan. Go watch with the threesome with the girl who was watching. Then you could have hooked up with her. No such situation has ever presented itself to me. Only traditional relationships. I have no idea what I would have done. I probably would have bailed too on two reasons: 1. I'm ...

Is this a good idea? I don't think you should encourage transferring save states. Many save states from older versions of ZSNES don't work and/or have side effects with newer versions. That issue will continue to grow the more ZSNES's fundamental core is changed such as the new CPU core and sound en...

Right. That's essentially what I said. The feasible option here with DirectDraw is to allow selection of display device. Spanning(dragging the window across displays) will never work in Direct Draw without many a headaches. I never said it would. It's not much extra work to stick a value in lpGUID t...

It won't work because ZSNES uses DirectDraw and uses it in such a way that it will not switch devices. And even if it did, the moment you did that, you would loose hardware acceleration. Device selection may be a part of a later version of ZSNES. However, drag and drop capability like you're asking ...

Cart copiers can dump SRAM saves as well. I don't know why you would think they can't. The copier can read whatever is adressable on the SNES busses. The SNES can read that data and so can a copier. The only time you couldn't is if you had to access a special chip or other intermediary device to get...

I'm also leaning toward the motherboard is probably grounded/shorted to case somewhere. Here is the failsafe way. Remove your board from the case and hook it up outside and see if you have the same problem. In the past, I've set it on top of the bubble wrap it's packaged in. This way, you're guarant...

Yeah, that's not innovative. That's just stupid. It's potentially dangerous. It doesn't' go backwards, and what about people dropping stuff on the tracks?

I know it would never fly in the US. That would be so lawsuit prone, it would never get off the ground.
