It's not real surround sound. It is a "surround sound effect" if I recall correctly. Also, I think I remember reading in the SNES documentation that the SNES uses some sort of crude low-pass filter. In addition, can somebody confirm a sound anomaly in Super Metroid for me? When Samus is ru...

Did you try PSXPad yet? Maybe you prefer to stick with PPJoy, but PSXPad is mentioned in the guide at http://www.tolaris.com/snes-to-parallel and it might do the trick.

Right. I forgot that kilivipin came first. Oops. Anyway, it seems that you are saying that you had no previous identities. Never mind, then.

I don't think I have ever before seen it expressed so clearly as you just did. That should go in the FAQ, if it isn't there already.

This is all I know about this theoretical Tetris Filter: http://www.snes9x.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7170: someone proposed a non-interpolating (non-blurring) display scale filter called "Tetris." This filter is so named because it converts pixel transitions into +/- 45-degree lines Alt...

Here's a somewhat more informative link: http://www.snes9x.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7170

It sounds like a cool concept. The HQXx filters seem to do that already, though.
