Isn't OGL needed for the S (stretch) video modes? This is especially important for those with an iMac because of it's widescreen LCD. Also, when I mirror ZSNES to my TV under any res I get black bars on the side because it lacks S mode. OS X uses OpenGL for it's games and many programs, is there som...

I just tested it, it works wonderfully. When this is put into a standard OS X app form, as in a .dmg, etc. Will we still be required to get SDL or is there some other way around it like packaging it or something? This might just be a problem on my end, but ZSNES doesn't seem to be saving to it's zgu...

Don't underestimate the upgrade. Going from a G4 to Core Solo/Duo is a huge difference. Mainly because of IBM's inability to get a G5 in a laptop or mini.

BTW, I have a new intel iMac. If you want to pagefault, I wouldn't mind giving you ssh access to develop ZSNES on OS X Intel.

It shouldn't desync period. Todays internet connections are way above required to get a lag & desync free game, there really is no excuse for why it can't be fixed. I was just asking if this was it, or is it just a somewhat better version that will desync slightly less then regular one.

zsnes 1.42n

I see that a version with supposedly stable netplay was released, any comments on this?

Since it's been a month or whatever, can someone tell me if it's a successful stable netplay build or does it still desync?

I'd also like higher resolutions. I'm running 2048x1536 too (except at 75hz).

Earthbound, gets stuck in craft?

First of all, I'm using the SDL version with the latest CVS. Although I've tried it on earlier versions aswell. I'm at the part where you take the spacecraft, here's an image. http://tehnick.ath.cx:50/images/ebcraft.png Right when you get in, nothing happens yet you can still hear the music. You don...

Max supported amount of buttons?

I have 2 controllers that are 16 buttons each + the dpad which accounts for another 4. That's about 40 buttons or so. For some reason when I configure my controllers under ZSNES, some identifiers are being used more then once which causes many problems with playing anything co-op. Say for example: I...

I don't know what was wrong before, but running this debug cvs version seems to run fine and it doesn't seem to be crashing at all. So that's good, but unfortunetly I still have this problem with 1.36 which is what I use most of the time for netplay. Is there anyway to update 1.36 with the OGL impro...

No, it wasn't compiled with -m32 and I hadn't enabled any debugging, just ran through gdb.

If you ask me to do any of these things, I'd appreciate it if you atleast scarcely explain on how it should be done. ._.

Constant ZSNES Crashing..

Okay, I've been having this problem for a while now. I'm running on an AMD64 on Gentoo Linux. First of all, I have both versions 1.42 and 1.36, aswell as a 1.36 version that I run in my 32-bit chroot that all seem to have this problem. ZSNES likes to crash with that sdl seg fault error quite frequen...

No, because my current res that I use on my desktop is 2048x1536. If I would change that to 1280x1024 say, then I would have to configure my monitor and stretch the screen out more unless I get borders. Then if I change it back, I have to reconfigure it again. So if I'm not using 1280x1024 and I run...

ZSNES video modes

I just recently got myself a new 21" CRT, and now have access to big resolutions like 2048x1536. I can't seem to play fullscreen using any of the video modes without getting a border because the biggest fullscreen video mode is 1280x1024. Isn't there any way video modes could be added? Or atlea...

So.. is there any updates on when a possible WORKING netplay is going to be in the latest versions? I'm guessing it's going to be a long while, but exactly how long, are we talking years, months, days.. Sorry to be a bother but without netplay all versions later then 1.36 render useless to me becaus...

that true or not, it still happens whether i'm using tcp or udp

the point is that it works fine in the old one, why is that? there has to be SOME reason.. and since there is, this can be fixed

I don't think your getting what I'm saying.. TCP might be more reliable then UDP and this would occur less but it doesn't. It's about the same.. the point it is this only happen when using the WIPs, NOT the official 1.36 so there must be some conclusion to this if it works fine in an earlier version

But how come this happens with UDP off then?
