Yeah the D-Pad design has always been flawed. You can mess with the .CFG as has been suggested but I'm going to recommend a different controller. I use a PS2 to USB adapter that solves this problem. The Playstation 2 controller has segmented buttons for it's D-Pad so this never really becomes an iss...

SuperFX overclocking

Hey guys, just saw this and thought you might be interested. Might be an interesting idea for a feature. I thought about this a long time ago while playing Legend of Zelda on NES, remember that slowdown in some of the dungeons...

AspiringSquire, I know you weren't talking to me but I just want to clarify that the music comment I made was an attempt at humor. You know make a list of things to do but one of them is unrelated. So if the user name "jreberry" is related to music that's not what I was talking about.

You should read his post before spewing bad advice. His troubles do not come from a PAD, but from his domotic central unit. Guilty. I read the post too fast and misunderstood it. I read the whole USB thing and related it to the controller he mentioned. Sorry. I heard those aren't so good. Mine has ...

1) What version of ZSNES are you using? 2) Go to your device manager and update the USB drivers, you may need to figure out what your motherboard's chipset is, etc, etc. I just reinstalled XP the other day and I needed to manually install my USB drivers after installing SP2. 3) Don't use the device ...

I'm not one for 'flaming' people online but kevman is right on this. It is much harder to find the ZSNES message board, create an account, and post these questions than it is to run ZSNES for about 10 seconds to at least see the options for this.

This is a really good idea, the hackless version. With enough testing from the popular users here some of these hacks may be able to be eliminated. I'll let you know how my testing comes out.

Wierd, I don't experiance that. What sound options are enabled? -Stereo sound -Enable sound -Sound buffering -Gaussian -Hi Quality It doesn't matter what's enabled, it happens. I'm not the only one with the problem as I know two other people experiencing it. It only started when the primary buffer ...

Great release. Thanks again.

The sound issue still occurs where I can't open ZSNES with mp3s playing anymore. Primary buffer is not enabled. Sound in ZSNES has to be disabled entirely for those mp3s to work now. This started when the primary buffer option was implemented.

Uncheck the use primary buffer option. It wasn't checked. I found that it created sound anomlies for me. High pitches were spiking in sound. It just made things sound bad. For me, shutting the option off fixes it but the sound is now messed up for my friend Matt either way. The game we were playing...

Just so you know beginning with the 2/10 WIP if sound is enabled when you launch ZSNES and you are playing an mp3 (or anything) in windows it will cut the sound off. However if you disable sound in ZSNES it will come back. It is no longer possible to launch ZSNES and listen to uninterrupted music.

The ZSNES GUI is pretty awesome. With the filtered option on it looks great. The only option that might be cool is instead of just screen savers the ability to show a JPEG or BMP would be neat. But I don't think it needs to be converted to a "standard Windows" GUI.
