Re: State of SNES Emulation - 2010

Great read. This I would like to read for something like the N64 emulation scene as well.

I assume you meant MESS 0.139 :)

Looking good indeed. The only thing missing are a couple of banners for those various themes :)

Exactly. Because I have a hard time believing core emulation is being worked on these days in any emulator other than MESS.

Well, nothing lasts forever. What is there to improve in NEStopia, aside from some obscure 3rd party hardware? More polishing?

Good god, you can actually find more than one person who wants to play an old-ass SNES game with you online? And even if so, I don't even want to imagine the latency issues involved with such a thing ;_; Maybe on a LAN. Well, zbattle.net is still being used by many people. The problem there is too ...

Unless someone has found a workaround, for ZSNES, you're probably out of luck. Use another SNES emulator as an easy solution.

Ugh, zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) is as dead as a camal lying dead in the sun with vultures flying over it. It still plays your snes games, though.

True of course, I really liked what mudlord did with shaders and make a lot of crazy video effects, even though he said it was...
