Quite frankly, I am suprised that the Final Fantasy VI re-translation by RPGONE isn't getting more attention than it is. I can remember in the nineties, when many of the fans of FFIII(US) were complaining about how much was removed from its Japanese counterpart. Where are they now? Speaking of RPGON...

I thought that might happen. :)

It's a bug I'd really like to see fixed, too. EWJ2 is awesome.

Yeah. It's so hard to suck up to only one ZSNES dev at a time, because we are grateful for each and every one of them. :P Am I right?

I actually feel guilty for enjoying ZSNES for all these years, to the extent that I am taking steps to someday cotribute to the project. Hopefully soon.

1) What would you consider a reasonable ZMV size for a 10+ hour movie? 1. I think it's OK to have up to 500k per hour, so a ten hour ZMV would be around 5 MB. 2) If an auto chapter function is added what intervals should a chapter be made, this will allow you to skip through a movie much faster. 2....

pagefault,

Actraiser 2 works in the 2003-10-28 WIP, but is broken in the 2003-11-01 WIP.

Thanks.

I would like to see more of the kinks ironed out of ZSNES sound. We all know there are a number of games with an inaccurate sound effect here and there. A few examples: Super Mario World - fireballs, spin jump Final Fantasy IV - sound of a dark sword, whip, or katana attack Super Castlevania - bats ...

Hi d1git, I am reasonably sure that part of the background music cuts out when you strike enemies in the cartridge version of Secret of Mana. I have the original cart and have played it many times. Also, I just recently started playing SoM with ZSNES 1.42 (I'm at the Pandora ruins) and, except for a...

Unless you have annoying siblings around whom you can't leave your computer running unattended. ;)

I just use Windows key + L. That way I don't have to deal with a screensaver kicking in when I don't want it to. But annoying siblings can't get in.

Hey. You can probably find the answer to your question in the ZSNES documentation, which is included in the zip file ZSNES is distributed in.

Hope this helps.

I'll never forget the time I used SciTech to set my refresh rate to something my old monitor couldn't handle. The only way to save myself was to boot in safe mode. Back then I didn't know the exact way of booting in safe mode. I had no manuals, I obviously couldn't go online, I was about to give up....

I thought it was 32,738 max colors onscreen, 256 max per sprite, which explains the need for 8 and 16-bit display modes in the DOS version. 256 non-transparent colors. Once you add in the transparency, quite a bit more can be onscreen, because when those 256 colors blend with each other to create t...

I think it has something to do with the Add-Ons window, too. However, I think there is more to that story. I am referring to the fact that in v1.41 the Add-Ons window has been changed from v1.40. edit: I'm glad you guys are getting a kick out of this. Maybe it is your reward for being so underapprec...
