Didn't know that... Not much experience with IDEs and compliers. Sounds like it's way too much of a hassle. Sorry for bugging you, man.

Has a VS2003 build been made? I hope I don't come off like I'm nagging or anything... I know there are greater priorities, I'm just curious.

Funny that Kick said how "pSX sounds like an Atari 2600"...maybe he should listen to how horrible the sound in VGS was. No sound interpolation whatsoever. At least pSX runs games and has very good sound. Perhaps I can record a game (ie FFVII) in both ePSXe and pSX and post it to see which...

And finally, I hope no one is so poor/idealistic as to not be able/willing to donate a paltry $2.50 to get his great emulator. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but some people have ideals that do not go away just because the dollar amount is low enough for them to personally shrug off. It also doesn't ...

Well, both the 360 and the Wii have specialized memory, the wii even more so. I haven't heard of problems in the Ram production for it, but that does make sense... Consoles have had production problems before. The PS2's US and Japanese launch had to be cut back too. I don't recall what the Japanese ...

Lying SOBs. I despise console manufacturers every launch and every Christmas because they purposely don't bother to produce any knowing full well they're going to sell out on those occasions. I'm glad someone else here sees through their shady marketing tactics. Their "unintentional" shor...

The 68000 is an odd chip. It has 32 bit registers, and an address bus that can be 8, 16 or 24 bits. The one found in the Genesis has a 16 bit bus.

That would be incorrect. In the end, the best discs come from good burners(Which are surprisingly cheap.) and the best blanks. Errors are less likely to happen at slower speeds, but there's not a very big difference. PSone burning is a different issue due to the lack of error correction on the PSone...

If you don't want to do the soldering, you can use a swap trick instead. The main problem with those is occasionally they don't work or sometimes the game loads slower than normal. As for the disc speed burning issue, some PS1s can run discs burned at 52X/whatever insane speed. However, that's rare....

I honestly never used a 32-bit era or beyond emulator due to the sheer hell of PS Emu Pro's plug-in system. Actually, it's not that bad. Use the P.E.Op.S. software graphics plugin, Eternal sound plugin and whatever CDR plugin and you're good to go on like 90% or more of PS1 games. Now, dealing with...
