I'm slightly curious now, why is it so hard to to make exp codes for SD3 as opposed to other games?

Or when you've copied stuff from your cd to the hard drive it's still set as "read only".

Re: Killer Instinct Problem

The other option is to disable the New Graphics Engine. That actually worked. But only if I also enable the "old graphics" option. Should I leave it like that in general or there's actually a gain from the New Graphics Engine? Thanks a lot. From what I remember some games will have major ...

I know a lot of self-diagnosed cases of Asperger's Syndrome are worn as a badge of pride... Yeah that's always annoyed me. If you dont like getting beat by a girl... Yeah we get it, you have a vagina. Congratulations. Re: Ubuntu 11.10 64bit mplayer/mencoder compability problem

:D Ok thanks, I was just thinking. Is assembler programming really needed with todays computers anyway. Couldn't those parts be rewritten in C instead... The next version of zsnes, Zsnes 2.0, will have no assembly code. It's being rewritten in C or C++ or something(I'm clearly not a coder). Just do...

dude seriously, stop making your font freaking huge and that god awful shade of green. We can see the default font perfectly fine, that's why we all use it.

Re: Article about how desktop UIs changed over the years

Hmmm... most of the 95 updates were never available outside of OEM install disks. THAT's some serious shit, there. "Want an update? Buy a new PC already, geez..." Yeah, when I finally got a computer in late '97 that had windows 95 on it, it came with a OEM install disk. Is that a practise...

Re: Is it possible to display the input on the screen?

Do you mean that you want the screen to display a message every time you press a button, like every time you press the up key?
If so, I'm pretty sure that zsnes doesn't have that feature, but I could be wrong, it's not something that I've been interested in reading up on before.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

franpa's comment applies to the actual content of your new sidekick's messages, and it gives a major "A.I. thinks you're dumb" vibe. Its voice is not as disruptive as navi's, in comparison. Cool. I don't know who at nintendo thought it was a good idea to have a character say "LISTEN&...

Re: Problem with my logitech dual action gamepad

It could be a drivers issue. I've got almost the exact same controller you have and it came with a cd with drivers on it. Did yours come with one as well? If so, then I'd try installing the drivers off of it and see what that does. If not, you'll have to do a google search to try and find the driver...

Re: FFiv Help - No Continue Screen

could be a cd-rom issue. Ha for a second there I was wondering what the hell you were talking about. But yeah, if your running your roms off of a cd/dvd and the save path is set to the same place, then saves aren't going to work. Also make sure your save path isn't set to a folder that has read onl...

It's too bad you can't put a cap on the number of posts someone can make. I'd laugh my ass off if lordmissus could on...

interesting. i know europeans can usually find hard copies cheaper. apparently not true down under? We generally pay about 15% percent more for goods and services compared with the rest of the world. This due to a few different reasons, mostly because the trade agreements we've got set up with othe...

Re: zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emula

Wait, are you running xpadder, then zsnes? you shouldn't need to do that. If you are running xpadder first, it's possible that you've got the buttons set to keys that zsnes doesn't like and won't allow to be set up(like the F1 keys). that's all I can really think of.

I have pretty much the same problem(except my controller gets jammed down and left) for visual boy advance for the mac. All my other mac emulators run fine(I don't use zsnes on my mac). I'm using a controller with duel joysticks and a d-pad(you can see a pic of my controller in this thread: http://b...

Re: will this pc be able to handle zsnes?

That system should be more than enough to run zsnes. I use to run zsnes back in the day on a computer with a 500mhz processor and 512 mb of ram and it ran fine. Before that I used to be able to get it to run on a pc with a 200mhz processor and 16 mb of ram. It ran rather crap, even with all the vide...
