Re: VBA-M
I knew that it was a problem with Direct 3D 9 but I thought I got it covered by having Direct X 11 and now that I remember I think that I asked the same stupid question here long time ago and got the same answer... Anyway everything is working right both VBA-M and SSF.
Re: VBA-M
I wonder why their windows update didn't do that for me. Oh well then I will install them manually... Anyway thanks.Gil_Hamilton wrote:So install the latest twice-annual DX9 update.
God damn, why does MS not use version numbers right?
Re: VBA-M
Using Windows 7 64 bits, Intel Core i7 920 , Radeon HD 4850 , 6GB of RAM and Direct X 11.
It's asking me for a d3dx9_43.dll even on XP compatibility mode just like the unrelated Saturn emulator SSF.

Re: PSN fiasco
Also, what is that you said about RAID? RAID is not backup. It's not backup but it protects the data but I think it will not help here anyway, I don't even knew why I mentioned RAID as we are not talking about mechanical failure but anyway the should have tape or something. Oh and BTW a senator is ...

Re: PSN fiasco
Most companies with datacenter class equipment don't NEED to change passwords every time someone is fired (which is more or less weekly), because access to OAMP and enterprise hardware is only permitted from jump boxes that require multifactor authentication - as soon as their domain and/or TACACS ...

Kaiser, just shut up. Please. You started off by ranting about deleted account information, when no information was deleted, and that was the LEAST damaging possibility in any case(restore from backup, problem solved, god DAMN the internet is full of idiots, why are you bitching about down time, fr...

Re: SNES9x 1.53 is out
I remember that someone posted a 64 bit prototype of ZSNES here long time ago and I don't remember if it was Nach or Pagefault. It was noone. Only the crack cocaine. It wasn't a official release but a test prototype. Fuck if I just had the dam file from my hard drive that died from my old PC, I cou...

How nice to see everything moving to 64 bit code these days and it's working perfectly. I remember that someone posted a 64 bit prototype of ZSNES here long time ago and I don't remember if it was Nach or Pagefault.

Re: GBA ROM scene shenanigans
You can mess with the button mappings in motionjoy, right? Yep but the problem is when you try to map them on the emulator. For some reason let's say square is 1 and you press square it will show another random number making mapping almost impossible. And yes Minish Cap when many ended it before an...

Re: GBA ROM scene shenanigans
It's too bad that Visual Boy Advance is not that compatible with a Dual shock 3 using Motionjoy... It's a pain to map the buttons. But yeah I remember the times when Visual Boy Advance was the thing and ROMs where released before they where on the stores. I like both GBA Metroid games very much beca...

Or take both to a computer repair shop or a computer shop that also does repairs and get them to test them, for a fee. (should take the whole computer and get them to test every part) No thank you! I don't trust them. I think that my last resort is to buy more memory and test them. If the result is...

I turned the machine on again without memory and it beepes like crazy again in what I think this was the sequence. beep, beep, beep, short pause and repeat. ...

The problem now is that the board need 2 dimms to boot acording to the ASUS P6T manual... actually, the manual says you can't use a single stick in slots A2, B2, or C2. a single stick in slot A1, B1, or C1 should work just fine (and those are the three slots you need to test anyway). Oh I failed at...

I had reseated the memory before posting here. The problem now is that the board need 2 dimms to boot acording to the ASUS P6T manual... I will see if a friend of mine can lend it's DDR3 memory that I think is compatible with the board and see if it works. At least the mobo shows sings of working. N...
