Just wanted to say that the mockup I've come up with is probably all but practical. I'm sure byuu knows best what shoud be used in his emulator. From what I understand, there are so many input peripherals to support, it would indeed be madness to put all those into that tiny window.

The biggest problem there is that we don't have pictures for the other three/four input devices. The next problem is that window is absolutely massive. It won't fit nicely with the panel layout I'm using to put all configuration settings in a uniform container window. And it still doesn't allow for...

If I may make a suggestion, I always liked the way to configure the gamepad as shown in the sample below:

I believe it's one of the better visual ways concerning user friendliness.

http://www.snapdrive.net/files/593262/bsnes6.png I made some balance changes. This is the final or near final entry. Actually, this looks more like a font type you would find in RPG games, in the main title. I like it a lot, I wouldn't however be able to make a choice... I like both of your designs.

Yes, this board could really use a mod like that. Also, I'm really missing the ability to block certain users when reading threads like I can do on other (emulation) forums.

How about an upgrade within the next 5 years? ;)

I'm not very into the situation but from what I read about this issue is that there are different opinions on how the GUI should look like and or function. Isn't the ultimate solution to separate the development of the emulation and the GUI? That, instead of how one person views it? I can imagine it...

I have a quick question about the video/audio sync function. I recently invested in new hardware, the audio crackling I had with my previous system (which did meet recommended requirements), is now completely gone. Could it be that sync requires a bit more powerful system or simply better tweaking i...

If you really want to know how the devs are doing, you could always go onto IRC and ask. :p I'm sure most of the devs live in the USA. If I would to enter IRC, they're probably all sleeping or are simply not there. Are they more active on IRC than on these forums these days? It was just merely curi...

How are all the Devs doing these days? I hope there doing well. :)
I love ZSNES, I couldn't image using anything else ^^.
I'm not sure lots of people know this, seeing as there hasn't been a response (yet).

I am aware that any changes made to WIP releases are posted here on this forum, but maybe it's an idea to start including those as well on the WIP download page? Redundant maybe, but quite handy as I have it bookmarked and am not already visiting the forum to check upon said changes.

It would be nice if the standard Kega window can be optionally set up to use another background or none at all. The default TV effect is an attack on my eyes at times.

Latest Alpha's are far MORE stable... still crashes on JFG, but Zilmar is working on it. An alpha that is more stable than beta... it defies logic. One would think that all the versions before this magical version you're talking about were alphas rather than betas. In any case, it's good to hear th...

It's one of the reasons I stopped using it some time ago, next to the connection errors I was getting with the security system that has been built-in. Did you try setting the affinity to only one CPU? In any case, it's not uncommon for these errors to popup with this emulator. My best bet is that yo...

If they decide to release 2.0, I would wait for that. Otherwise, all other available solutions are already present in this thread.
