Re: byuu on ars
That article is nothing new for anyone here who has been following the development of bsnes over the years. Essentially, despite statements stating otherwise, byuu is still jealous that people still use zsnes and snes9x over bsnes. Also, I can't agree more about Nightcrawler's assessment that source...

I've been playing:
Portal 2
Dragon Quest VI
Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time 3D (it is kind of disappointing - not much difference from the N64 game except for minor aesthetics).

Re: Mysterious Freezing
Playing patches can be a hit or miss affair. Most have not been fully tested on real hardware, and may randomly glitch if a specific emulator is not used. I guess it is like they say: use at your own risk.

If you sign up as a different account, I will easily find out and merge it with lordmissus.
Lordmissus is the only account you will use.
Your mannerisms are such that we will always find out. Hiding behind different IPs will make no difference.

phpBB makes it hard to restrict user's abilities. Really, it shouldn't be such a pain in the ass to restrict the amount of posts a new user can make in a day.

I guess they are pretty irrelevant now that they have disbanded. From what I understand, they were nothing more than a bunch of script kiddies hiding behind tor. Really, if they had any success at all at infiltrating company and government computers, it is a sad reflection on the level of protection...

Man, no one remembers when there was true drama in the emulation scene.

Re: Working ZSNES netplay builds for Ubuntu
Like the first post says, you are missing packages that zsnes depends on.
In all likelihood, it will mean you will have to install old versions of said packages.

Re: Cannot change input commands.
After you hit set, you are supposed to press the buttons that you want to map to the controls. If nothing is coming up, then there is likely a button that is on perma-press.

Re: Save State Help on Mario RPG
SA-1 games such as Super Mario RPG do not work properly in the latest version of zsnes. If you must use a savestate, go to an older version of zsnes. Otherwise, I recommend using the regular in-game saves, which can be used by other emulators which provide better SA-1 emulation. But more to the poin...
