Re: I am a prissy sissy
Context: Discussing licensing choices and why I feel Linux is communist.
People got offended, and as usual I didn't back down from my views that Linux is blah. So here we are.
And then said people called me intolerant because I refused to reason.

Re: AMD & NV drivers - now with OpenGL 4.2 & OpenCL 1.1 supp
Oh? So ATI is no longer shite when it comes to OpenGL? Has hell froze over? and yes, g-truc's site is utter win. Archiving of all decent extension usage code samples. :D Including native OGL 3 code! And no other site has such win. Sadly. And MS's DX11 documentation is just as shoddy as the Khronos G...

Re: byuu on ars
Nobody's is. A written document with pages and a table of contents will always be far more efficient and informative than raw source code ever could. I am fearful of a bleak future where we preserve and communicate information via raw source code only... Ugh... Source code is not documentation! Or ...

He makes some good points bbut he seemed to completely ignore the fact that his emulator has a much lower requiremennt performance core; instead he went on about how everyone should have a 3ghz core 2 duo or newer, which is still not terriibly reasonable to assume, yet, especially with a lot of peo...

Re: State of N64 emulation: 2011
As the people preferring HLE, I don't really know the details in depth, but I imagine that doing low level emulation wouldn't be too worth it to a lot of people. Most people just want to play games, and LLE might just be too difficult, possibly requiring more accurate emulation of the subsystems an...

Mainly because I am asleep usually the time you come onlineSpeaking of which, Brad, you're never online anymore! Where are you!?
That, and not being motivated to pull all nighters like I used to.
Maybe if I got more sleep then I might be able to.

Oh yeah:A GUI metaplugin that can chain these would be awesome-sauce indeed :p
reverb + echo + EQ
Oh, same for shaders too, would be nice if SSNES allowed for shader stacking like your PS3 emu ports do :3.

Done:

License is the same as foo_dsp_effect.
You might need to rewrite the config if you want to port to MacOSX/Linux.

Re: D3D/OpenGL shader thread. Reborn.
To be honest, I'm astonished the VBA-M team has not bothered cleaning up or rewriting some of the core stuff - there's a lot of stuff that just sticks out like a sore thumb that could be very easily replaced and would probably gain you some better performance on nearly all platforms. Are they just ...

Nothing wrong with a nice raster GUI. Funny how consoles still have a visual based GUI.
