Just a note that if anyone knows info about SPC7110 graphics packs, feel free to go ahead and post, as I don't know anything about them. ;)

I haven't heard, but that might be too slow for emulators-it could take the game longer to load.

Gospel wrote:You can't.

Unrar the files with WinRAR, and play them normally.

If want compressed files, you'll need to unrar them, then recompress them in the .zip format.
ZSNES also supports gzip, btw. ;)

I believe I use 100% with vsync and zero frameskip, with auto framerate disabled, but you're using the default settings, so...

Are you using other programs along with ZSNES, such as WinAmp? Try closing all unnecessary programs, then run ZSNES.

Although your computer is fast (a little faster than mine, even ), try out a super optimized build by ipher. I posted a link to it somewhere in this forum recently, so use the search engine to find it (Last time I checked it's not available at ipher's site). ;) EDIT: Never mind, I found the li...

I highly recommend 7-zip. It's freeware and it supports many compressed archive formats. ;)

I'd prefer any IPS patching tool that is small, does the job, and does not use the Windows Registry. IPSWin fits that description, but if it really is that bad... :?

I don't prefer to use command lines for any program in Windows XP, as it seems to have problems with it. So I prefer a GUI version. The same thing goes with ZSNES: the Windows version is just better than the DOS version if you have XP in my opinion.

Right click your Windows desktop then choose Properties. Go to the Settings tab, then click Advanced. Go to the Monitor tab, and there you can change the screen refresh rate. Change it to 60 (if it's not already).

Hey, didn't Nach add an option for 96000hz sound or something like that? Or was that just a joke (someone requested it constantly IIRC)? I don't see it in the latest WIP.

S-DD1 Graphics Pack FAQ

S-DD1 Graphics Pack FAQ NOTE: FAQ is now obsolete! Q: What is the purpose of the S-DD1 graphics packs? A: Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Star Ocean use a special chip called the S-DD1 chip that for a long time was not supported by ZSNES. To play them back then (in ZSNES v1.36), you had to use graphics ...

The game should run smooother if you have auto frameskip off and set at zero, but this requires more CPU power. Try out ipher's optimized ZSNES builds to see if ZSNES runs faster for you. Some users reported speed increases with these builds. :) http://www.ipherswipsite.com/zsnes EDIT: If you can't ...

Uh, it's illegal to distribute commercial roms. Posting a link to commercial roms here can get you banned from the forums. Public domain roms should be fine, though. ;)

Is there a way to download the entire CVS package in one zip file, or do you have to download each file separately?

Try editing the settings in the config file, maybe that will help.
