The sega CD originals are better.
Never played them. I definitely enjoyed the remakes, though.

SyncToy has worked quite nicely for me to keep my girlfriend's music collection consistent between two computers, and I'm even forcing it to work over the network. It'll quite happily work between two local drives/directories, and you can have it only sync in one direction and create copies instead...

Is it safe to assume that 'char' ranges from -128 to 127, unsigned int from 0 to 65535, and int from -32768 to 32767? If so, life will get a little more interesting after the original value of "bleh" rolls over (assuming there isn't an overflow error instead of a simple rollover). Regardle...

Dangling heatsink + fragile mobo components like VRMs and capacitors = all sorts of damage potential.

Not to mention possible stress fractures to the PCB.

Like everyone else said - if the heatsink was loose, you screwed the pooch. I've done a bunch of LGA775 stock hs installs, and I've never heard a loud "crack" sound... but there's definitely a solid "click" when the pin (finally) engages properly. And yes, the motherboard will fl...

Did anyone else have an issue with SO2 in that balls-deep hidden dungeon at the end? My game had a roughly 10% chance of locking when exiting a battle. Never happened to me anywhere else in the game, so I always assumed it was a bug in the game itself instead of a disc issue.

They have the 6-pin AUX connector . On your picture, it's the white thing to the right of the 34-pin floppy connector (below the DIMM slots). You'd only need one of those PSUs; again, with just one hard drive, a 300W would probably be just fine. Maybe 350W if you'd prefer to err on the side of cauti...

Click the links.

Keep in mind - if you're planning on using a SATA hard drive, you're also buying a PCI or PCI-X SATA controller.

For the PSU, 400W will pretty much be overkill. You'd probably be fine with 300W.

Nothing in the manual indicates that board functionality will be limited by having only one PSU installed. Keep in mind that at the time this motherboard was produced, it was rare to see ATX power supplies over 300 or 350W, which would be severely problematic in a server with a SCSI controller and m...

Well, it looks like that's a SuperMicro Super 370DLE board. According to the manual , it uses a standard 20-pin ATX power supply, preferably with the 6-pin AUX connector. The second 20-pin connector is for a second ATX power supply (for "heavy load configurations"). It's getting tough to f...

Deathlike2, he has a normal AGP 4X slot, not that bastardized ECS implementation. He was only quoting from a user review while asking a question.

Clessoulis - yes, your AGP slot is significantly faster than a PCI slot.

What motherboard do you have? Or, if you know, what chipset is it based off of? If you can't get that information, here's some general info. If you have a socket 370 motherboard, you almost definitely have an AGP 2.0 slot If you have a slot 1 board, it's going to be a 50/50 shot. To tell for sure, y...

I have not experienced this bug either - I'm currently replaying 7th Saga and have held down FF for minutes at a time while levelgrinding.

For the record, I have FF mapped to a button on a gamepad (L2 on a DualShock 2 hooked up via a RadioShack USB adapter).

IIRC, a full subtank is supposed to refill 28 units of health (the same amount a weapon or boss meter gauge holds). At the beginning of the game, the meter holds 16 units; after all health-max ups are collected, your meter is 32 units tall (and thus holds slightly more than what a single subtank can...
