Re: Deciding on whether to get a PSP-3000 or 3DS
Actually, just about every PSP is hackable in some way... unless the 3000 is at a certain firmware or lower, i thought they were still un-hackable. Nope, that was changed in the last ~6 months; thank you Davee and some1's downgrader (true, some1's downgrader will attack the higher firmwares, but so...

*sigh* 99.9999999999 percent chance you're using the wrong game revision. The code makes no mention of which version of the original game it was made for, and FF3US happens to have a LOT of versions(I believe three, just in the US). Most of the time, a code made for one version of the game won't wo...

Re: Tetris Attack sound problems during Netplay
topic's fine where it is. As long as you get NSRT+Frontend from a trusted source (such as the link in my sig) you should be fine, and it should be treated as a false positive. (what was the name of the supposed Virus that NSRT+Frontend had, anyway? :?) and yes, you do indeed have the USA version of ...

but vmware server was absolutely worthless when I used it. Many things would be very buggy, and it performed poorly overall. It even gave me an ERROR 200 OK in the process of using it. What crap. Agreed. As I said in the OP, it's okay in Linux if you get it to play nice but GL on windows, especiall...

Virtual PC software...
So. anyone got any recommendations on this? Since getting that Windows 7 PC for dad/family, I've been wanting to get back into VM software. I've tried VMware server; works okay in Linux when it plays nice, but sucked ass in win7 (even lagging the login portion ). Does MS still have their free ...

there's also a FAQ which outlines some common issues here.

I also like your comment at the end about KDE 3.5 and calling it trinity...
As for KDE4 sucking and not ready for prime time yet people still insisted using it anyway, that certainly explains why it was like a slug on my old desktop...

Don't run the 64-bit build he provides, it's guaranteed to be the "accuracy" profile and therefore slow. Either use his 32-bit build, or seek out someone else's binaries, so you'll know which profile you're using. THAT certainly explains everything.. you see, I got the 64-bit build to tak...

and to get this back on track, I've ran all kinds of 32-bit programs (Avira anti-vir, Firefox, Chrome, Project64, UT99, etc) with no problem on windows 7 64 bit edition :) One thing I don't get is how come BSNES runs half-assed on this laptop. by byuu's suggestings and people having multi-core CPUs ...

I already 2 sets of drivers.... How would I disable the Profiler and I would I go about making sure windows detects all buttons and axes properly? I'm not sure how the profiler works (runs on startup, etc), but to be sure I'd look though the startup config (using msconfig.exe) and look for the logi...
