More like 15, 555 RGB. :þ
The extra bit is for colour substraction/addition (the snes 'transparency').
I thought it was just to get things aligned along byte thresholds.
...
Well, that and the fact that most PC video cards don't support 15-bit color.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I mean if a game doesn't run and can't get to run by accuracy, a hack should be made until the hack gets obsolete, because of higher accuracy. Has someone a good argument against hacks? you could make a command line or switch to turn hack on/off, so everyone can get wha...

Have you renamed the ZMV and ROM image to match?
ZSNES doesn't know what files relate to what game. It uses file name to tell that.
CTrigger.smc and chrono_t.zmv may be clearly related to you, but not to your computer.

Re: ZSNES 1.42 is nice but...

Doom won't even load up with the newer ZSNES 1.42 (ZSNES 1.36 had no trouble with this game) I have read about the mentioned fixes for getting Doom to run on ZSNES 1.42, but I'm sorry; I really don't think I should have to go de-interleave my roms in order to get a once working game to work again. ...

Wehn hi-res mode 7 is enabled, mode 7 regions aren't filtered. this is because hi-res mode 7 uses the space that ZSNES would use to apply a filter.

The ZSNES GUI is a very nice interface, as well as lending it a professional air that is missing from most emulators.
I, for one, am glad that it will always be a unique interface and not just another generic Windows menubar.

It's weird because most video content was designed assuming either 4:3 or 16:9. I really don't see why they came up with new "standards" that don't really fit most video content, and upcoming content(HDTV) will be based on 16:9 anyway. It also would probably be cheaper to manufacture sinc...

It's more like you'll be able to recover when it does.
A state save preserves the conditions that lead to the crash. A conventional save doesn't.

So save early, save often, and don't state save, and you'll be fine.
