Re: Bind combos to a single key?

Just remember that the delays are in frames, and there's 50 or 60 frames per second, so make sure to tweak the timing until it works well, and timing too fast it might not work.

Yeah set it to the native res of your monitor (DS FULL). Set a custom mode if you need to (bottom of the list). Turn off "FORCE 4:3 RATIO" and you should be good to go.

Re: HP Pavilion a305w computer build project

If you want HD capture in linux, you can either look for an original Hauppauge HDPVR (not HDPVR2, unsure about "gamer edition" or whatever) which is limited to analog only capture (composite, svideo, component) or there's the blackmagic intensity pro for both analog and digital (HDMI) capt...

You can't really recommend an output frequency as being correct for anybody. It's going to be specific to their system and configuration. They'll just have to tweak it until it sounds correct for each computer.

Re: PSX vs Saturn for 2D games?

The texture filtering doesn't apply if you're not scaling them. I imagine it could've done OK as far as textures in memory with the expansion pak but with swapping in to the texture cache constantly during play might have been a bottleneck for getting 60 fps which is pretty much a requirement.

Nintendo nerd I'm pretty sure yuber has some weird driver or software configuration issue because he's mentioned audio crackling for months at least. Also its "just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.".

It's not uncommon that the input name also changes modes. I'd try "game" and "PC" and see which works best. PC should look the best by far but I don't know if it will be as optimized for latency. I've seen a TV's game mode still be pretty awful though so there might be nothing yo...

IE 6 mostly stuck around because of practical purposes like the expense of porting company web interfaces or specialized plugins or ActiveX controls to a different or newer browser. Also training people who have lost all ability to learn.

With zsnes it's more people being spergy.

There should be a config.log file dropped in that directory. It's a big file but if you can paste or upload it somewhere we can find out what's going on.

I wouldn't doubt that a mass marketed robot body would have government/law enforcement backdoors built in, as well as built in advertisements and probably even some decision making control to make people docile and/or willing to spend more money.

Accuracy mode is a really bad means of measuring performance. It's basically only neded for liek 1 game and it's effects are only visual. Most any modern computer should run compatibility core with no real problems.

Most modern movies are STILL 24 FPS. No one ever comes out of the theater complaining about how jerky the film was, because... it's not really a big problem. It is a problem, but film makers have had to adapt to it. Most noticeably, panning shots in movies always have to be super slow or the stutte...
