Whoa, that's retro.
Might be possible, not sure. Want a fallback to something.
As long as you can use nothing like your fullscreen frames, I don't really care what comes with the exe.

I think a professional would disagree with you guys. The prior font was too rounded and plump for the sleek jaggedness behind it. It looks too much like a toothpaste brand. Slanting the font destroyed the circular balance of the whirl behind it. The text was spread apart too far and the outline was ...

How about making the controller images external options as well? In other words, bsnes could make the paths to the images selectable somewhere for all controllers. There, no wasted bandwidth and people can display whatever the heck they want or nothing at all. "but, but, the button order...&quo...

Not having any issues with video sync myself on Vista64. Make sure emulation speed is synced to BOTH video and audio. It's not clear, but there are two distinct checkables, it isn't a handoff. I think your video is "muddy" because DirectDraw is only capable of bilinear filtration. Setting ...

http://e-rice.net/ I've used this service for a few years now. Their static options are great values if you don't need all the frills. Regarding NHL 94, I actually remember that game's title screen being hclock sensitive. However, I thought your recent scanline improvements solved that. I guess I mi...

I'd much rather define an appropriate background color than have it be the window theme. A background color also gives the image a frame, which explains to the mind why the controller cord is ending where it does. White is good and nuetral, but the imperfect angle is still bothersome. I think the sh...

Very nice. But the area the old b occupied still needs filled in. And the thin black outline around the text needs to go.

Don't ask me, it was byuu's request not to include copyrighted characters. Besides, what's wrong with being original? Boo is too circular, I don't like his form.

A program logo should not be a ball of colorful fuzz that resembles nothing. The effect was nifty, but it's too weird for our purposes. nice ghost, but at least try and use a Big Boo or something. I intentionally didn't want it to look exactly like a Boo. I'm pretty sure that's a copyrighted charact...

I really like Well, it's apparently not possible to compete with anything that incorporates the ready-made familiarity of the official logos. Maybe a commission thread would have been a better idea. I will say that the blue outline around everything in D--'s logo is a mistake. There should be two o...

Make blackmyst's version into a polished SVG and I'll happily use it instead. Fink is awesome :D Are you creating t-shirts and bumper stickers or something? It's a lot harder creating an SVG version for something with blackmyst's blending and linework, and you flat out don't need variable sizes. Wh...

All I can say is I wouldn't even put the one byuu chose in the top 3. Blackmyst's is still the best and it isn't even drawn straight.

Awesome, much better. If you want to make the buttons look more 3d to the brain at this angle, I recommend playing with the lighting to make them show a reflection of some kind... the reflections can make the tops look concave even at a straight-on angle. Notice how the light bends around the mound ...

I'll try to be more specific: the dpad cutout is visible from the right side of the dpad, but not the left, yet it's a straight-on shot of the controller, so it should be equally visible on all sides.

Considering that the HDTV standard was finalized in the mid '90s... I'd say no. Okay, new theory: computer widescreen was introduced before it was readily apparent that HDTV was the future of the market and not some niche product for rich people with barely any content to speak of. But the auto-res...

Something looks strange now, the dpad and buttons look like they're being shown at completely different angles even though the controller is laying perfectly flat. http://img16.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict0019ct3.jpg You were probably looking at this up-close camera shot. then why are tvs 16:9 and monitors 16:10 that sounds an aweful lot like not the same, but I could be wrong. I think computer displays went widescreen well before the HDTV standard was finalized. Now that 16:9 content exists and is becoming more abundant, there's a push for screens that can display ...

Really, manufacturers are just trying to create a uniform aspect between tv and computer markets, the line between the two is blurring. Computers are increasingly being hooked into televisions, tuners and consoles are increasingly getting hooked up to computers.

Just to clarify, I was referring to my previous one as aquatic. As for gllt's feathery mod of that one, it's a cool effect, but maybe not the best fit for this application. Fiery vortex is giving me good vibes.

Plus you can't submit a mod of someone else's logo, cheater! :p
