Re: My new website, for my own programming projects
site is down. Not that you cared. Just found out today, having not even been on the internet at all for the last 3 days. I would post this on byuu's board too. But I'm banned from there. Byuu is a loser anyway, so.. Mudlord pulled the plug on both his and my site. Fair enough, his domain, he only h...

Re: Gambatte 0.4.1 released
Yes, it appears sinamas is going the direction of blargg instead, which should be respected, not ridiculed. So yeah, I must retract my statement. But still, I must ignore the developer as principle. OK, seriously. GET THE FUCK OVER YOURSELF I.S.T: Why don't you? If you are not concerned about medio...

One more developer added to the ignore list I guess.
Good luck with your future endeavours. Nice knowing you.

EQAA is pointless given their MLAA... I'd rather run MLAA plus 4xMSAA than like CSAA/EQAA at 16x or some shit.

Re: Looking to build a new PC
no real suggestions here; your picks are reasonable. only comment is amd's just starting a refresh cycle on video cards; i'd try and hold out until the 5750's successor hits. you'll either get a faster card or a cheaper 5750. can't guarantee when it's going to hit, though - could be before the holi...

A. Wrong forum, dumbass. There's a gaming discussion forum if you scroll down a bit. ._.
B. There is no way to resurrect Leo. There never was, and there never will be outside of mods/hacks for the game.

Re: State of SNES Emulation - 2010
FF9 is a very different game. The only real thing in common it has is the graphics engine and the concept of turn based battle. Anyway, bsnes used to use a shitload of CPU, but for the last 20 someodd versions, it's been fairly fast. Basically any Athlon 64 could run it, along with many other lower ...

Re: State of SNES Emulation - 2010
Well, at least byuu doesn't have an ego. Oh wait... I just went looking for the last BSNES version to have movie support and couldn't find a single download place, not even on byuu's site. Did he just take all the old versions down as well? I did stumble onto one of his version release threads and ...

Re: State of SNES Emulation - 2010
As I said in #romhacking.net, I don't think that's why bsnes is so unpopular. It's that people think SNES emulation is 100% accurate/good enough(When it most certainly isn't) with ZSNES and SNES9x. I mean, let's face it. Much of the ZSNES team is acidic as well, yet you don't see people stop using Z...

Re: Legal Permissions
A few months ago, they raised the time limit to 15 minutes. Edit: before that, there was only one way to get that limit raised: by getting permission from Youtube. Of course, they only granted it to big companies that put TV and movies on Youtube... There was a method they killed years ago, however....

Re: Finally have that new computer
Even with 4GB of memory, I wouldn't want that piece of crap running in the background 24/7. Which it does, because it takes a note from the ancient book of Netscape, where loading the entire program in the background on system startup speeds up regular launching by a few seconds. Well, no. Now that...

i'll give those a go during the next week and edit them into this post. d/l'ing borderlands from steam right now. 66% off! 22 bucks for the game and all three DLC packs. Good luck with that. I have the ATi 5770 and although in theory it *should* be able to handle borderlands flawlessly, it runs wit...

It is one of the few times I can actually recommend NVidia... because the ovenheater known as the Fermi architecture was too late to the party... ATI still has to best bang for the buck.. only if you have no concern over OpenGL (whether it is using it or developing for it). Also, the needs to have ...

No, but technically, there is no such thing as a 100% free market. Even the US recognizes the danger of that.
