Re: Can you Play ZSNES on an external (TV) Monitor?

I thought you had to make the TV the primary display in order for this to work, not just clone?

Re: Move save files from Ubuntu to Vista?

I'm pretty sure that by default they will be located in your home folder, in a hidden folder called ".zsnes". You can access it by using <Ctrl>+h key stroke in the GUI file viewer, or if you are comfortable with the commandline it can be reached with a:

Code: Select all

cd ~/.zsnes/

IIRC using an older version of GCC to compile (4.1) will get you past this compile error.

EDIT:

Code: Select all

$ export CC='gcc-4.1'
Than configure/make normally.

The "solution" that was posted to resolve this issue, is to switch Zsnes INTO 'FULLSCREEN MODE' via pressing "alt+enter" <- Windows shortcut which would supposedly a quick 'fix' of the problem however, I'm using windows 7, windows 7 does not allow me to 'switch' to fullscreen mo...

Wtf is 9.14? I saw a couple references to it by google suggesting that it's actually a release but nothing explains why?

Could it very well be one of the sixaxis motion sensors is being registered? Is the controller being moved while setting the keys? I know my saitek P220 does something similiar to this if the throttle axis is set anywhere other than the exact middle.

Run this script ;) for Ubuntu and Debian Compile/Install an older version of ZSNES that supports netplay. Configure Inputs. Start netplay on one machine then connect with the other. In the future, probably. That's a mighty bold statement right there. Much closer to lottery-winning-probably than my-foot-kicking-a-cat-probably. Rumour has it that Windows 8 will be creeping by sometime around 2012 and may be a 128 bit OS and if not Windows 9 will be. Moving past a 32 bit version ...

As for pSX, i need 32-bit versions of glade and gtkglext, which I don't know how to build right now on an amd64 system. Someone told me to make a 32-bit chroot, which I'm not that interested in. I might install something in a virtual machine and get it from there, but I'm not thrilled about either ...

Lost my saved game on real hardware

Just recently bought Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrels for my SNES, was playing it for a couple weeks with no problems. Popped it in the other day, and *poof* no more saved games, just blank. Saved a new game afterwards, turned it off and then turned it back on and the new saved game is still there. ...
