So what's the actual difference, or is it mostly negligible? I know that Sega developed some of their Model 2 arcade games for 2A and later re-released them for 2B.

The combo menu is there in both mk2 and Victory, but its design is a lot better and it makes more sense. That's my opinion of it anyway. The original Hyperdimension Neptunia is truly quite a mess in many ways, but the sequels do fix many of its faults -- including the speed at which battles play out...

Do you have a hardpatched english rom image of the game? If so, then the message is normal. If the message shows when you load the original japanese version of the game, then the rom image is bad.

For me, it was probably finishing the Challenge of the Gods (or whatever it was called) in the original God of War without breaking my controller in frustration.
