What I really want is SSH access to the server, so I can fix this problem in the most hardcore way I know: Put the forum in maintenance mode to lock it. Install nginx as the default httpd, if not already. Set up Let's Encrypt for the board.zsnes.com subdomain. Back up the database. Install SMF. Use ...

The latest Zelda game I've played is Twilight Princess, and I ended up playing over half of the game in Dolphin.

And while Chrono Trigger uses no such extensions, games which utilize the SuperFX or the SA-1 execute code from and work with data from the SRAM directly from the CPU inside the cartridge.

The color values are bit shifted to the right by one bit (50%) and the least significant bits are masked off so they don't overflow into the neighboring color channels.
To do any arbitrary color level, you'll need to use actual multiplication and/or division instead of bit shifting.

Awesome. Now you just need to publish the source code somewhere, maybe. Unless you only built this from an existing source base. I remember such a thing existing, but I don't remember where it was published. ZSNES as a libretro frontend.

Yeah, several people in this topic somehow defaulted to "Disable BBCode" and "Disable smilies", which if I recall is byuu's default for his own posts.

Re: ZSNES cannot leave fullscreen mode.
Change "cvidmode" to 38, and change CustomResX and CustomResY to 512 and 480. Or some other factors.
Also change PrevWinMode and PrevFSMode to reasonable values, based on the comment block above cvidmode.

Re: ZSNES cannot leave fullscreen mode.
You'll need to edit your configuration file with Notepad, or another text editor, and change the startup display mode to windowed again. In the mean time, if you don't have anything important tied up in save states, you should probably switch to Snes9X for the foreseeable future, as it's pretty fast...

Someone should totally take that ZSNES hack and publish it into some ROM hacks of actual games, and have it only trigger in ZSNES.

And then there are MicroSD cards, that are reaching into the same exact capacities as full sized SD cards, and are the size of your index fingernail. I got one with my new Android tablet, 64GB, class 10, and it cost $20. It was sold under the PNY brand, but identifies as a Lexar card. I'd say that &...

Re: Nestopia UE 1.47
I don't think they made them, I think they lifted them from another emulator. They didn't even design the mapper API that they use.
E: My bad, I think the mappers are sourced somewhere. Still, kind of silly that they're implemented in an external plug-in system.

No more thrilled than I was about the Wuu, which I still do not own. Or the PS4, or the Xbone, which I also do not own. Or the New 3DS, which I don't plan to buy to replace my launch 3DS that I hardly use anymore.

But DS3 and I think also DS4 pads work natively with Mac OS X? You may need to press the reset button and pair them again, which is performed by plugging them in with a USB cable first, again, I think.
Been ages since I needed to pair a DS3 controller.

I had no control-related frustration with the GC version, either, which I pirated to play instead of my legitimate Wii version. I played it across a mixture of modded Wii and Dolphin, and finished it in the latter. The Argorok battle was broken with the hard drive loader I was using, where the manda...
