WHy is Zophar's still alive?

Post by SquareHead »

Wow, just for the sake of memories, I stopped by over at the Zophar's Domain board. It is a shock that it still is functional, and not surprisingly its being invaded by more stupid people than come in here on average. Thou we do have our winners, and I don't figure I'm excluded from that group. Anyhow, andone ever visit there regularly?

Eh, the website itself is long since dead, but the forums are active.
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

That's hwo it always goes. When the men go away, the children come out and play. It's not the only site like that... this is a ghost town.

Zophar still has some useful things on it, even if some of its sections are ridiculously out of date.

It may be out of date, but its useful when you're trying to find an old site on archive.org

Yeah, I use the forums, but I agree, nothing's really happening on the rest of the site

That place is pretty cool, i downloaded my WinAmp from there and SPC music player from there also. However the movies from there go out of sync quite often.

As I understand you can't use them on any new Zsnes, you have to use the old 0.9 something.

Speaking of Zophar's can anyone recommend a good news site like ZD? I use NGEmu for "next-gen" stuff but I don't have any good news sites for pre-PSX emulation stuff.

Why? Because Swampgas is too lazy/busy to bring it up to date, or let anyone attempt to bring it up to date. But really, if Swampgas won't bring it up to date, I doubt anyone else will.

The lists of emulators at Zophar's Domain were quite useful to me back in the day. I guess they're horribly outdated by now.

They were quite outdated when I got into emulation.

Perhaps there's a need to create emulation.romhacking.net? 8)
